
I recommended this place to my daughter who wanted her hair colored before she got locs. She booked the appointment and left the deposit for this week, today her appointment was canceled,, no reason as to why and no reach out to reschedule.. it’s a sin when you want to support black business but they function under lazy, unprofessional business tactics- thank u for showing us who u are we will schedule our business elsewhere.. I would suggest y'all do the same if ur reading this review…

My daughter and I did go though her email, and check the junk folder and the app, and there was no explanation- nothing at all...just what is listed in the 2 pictures..the booking process is not clear, by giving the deposit and being able to select that time it gave the impression that it was an available spot and lack of communication did not help. No stylist should have a salon full of clients during a pandemic, why? because its a pandemic!, regardless of who is vaccinated and who is not, and who would know. That's why it is important to be cautious .Last week was my first time at Elements of Hair by Treava and I WAS THE ONLY CLIENT IN THE SALON. WHY? BECAUSE THE STYLIST THERE CARED ABOUT MY SAFETY. Read moreI usually have the best experience with Nakeema whenever I go to the salon. However, this time I wanted to comb out my locs, so I was scheduled with a different stylist. We spent the whole week planning and coordinating my appointment, only for the day to arrive and the stylist to tell me she had double-booked. She said she would try to squeeze me in around 1:30. Since the salon doesn’t typically offer loc takedowns, she asked another stylist for help. (For context, the back and sides of my locs were already combed out — only the top was left.)
