Ross Park Aquatic Complex — Attraction in Pocatello

Not going to waste my money here again. We get there and the kiddy area is closed because of a contamination. (Probably happens all the time) so my husband and i decide to put our stuff down over by the concessions and the lap pool that NO ONE was useing. And try to teach our 3 year-old some of the basics of swimming. There is no sign saying you can not use the lap pool if no one else is useing it. So we get in so we can swim across the pool without running into someone because the other half of the pool was crowed wile the kiddy area was closed. As well as keep an eye on our stuff so no one would steal it. 45 minutes later we are told we cant swim there because its only for people who want to do laps. (Technically my husband and I were taking turns swimming across the pool and not just sitting in the water) and if we had been told that someone wanted to use the pool we would have gotten out happily. But that didn't happen and I wish I could get my money back because $18 is not worth 45 minutes...

It was a regular pool fit with everything a pool has. Prices are cheap and the lazy river couldn't get any lazier. Literally as soon as we paid a total of $46, the lightning alarm went off and told everyone to evacuate the pool. That's fine because they can't control the weather so I don't blame them. They let us back in the pool again after ten minutes of waiting. The only reason that I'm giving this three stars is because of how poorly this situation was handled on the second alarm that went off an hour later, this time forcing everyone to leave the complex, which was also fine since we were all done anyways. But they closed the locker rooms. They let us in but wouldn't let us change. Another strange thing about this place is the bathroom doors have NO LOCKS. The dressing areas are...

It's a decent park for small kids unless you plan on getting any food... I ordered a chicken burger, took one bite, saw this and spit out what I could. Really? This could easily kill a small child and make others sick. I'm writing this review the day after because I have spent the night and morning dealing with food poisoning, I don't think I need to go into detail with that.... They did seem sorry that it happened and offered to make another one (nope) and refund us. We took the refund. This is very serious, IF YOU PLAN TO EAT FOOD AT THE PARK, DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING WITH CHICKEN, ESPECIALLY FOR YOUR LITTLE ONES. I personally, wouldn't trust any food there. Food safety should be a priority to any establishment and this is just scary. I'd give no stars...
