Stay away from this dealership. I wish someone would have warned me prior. Went here in support of this area but made a big mistake in doing so.
Update in response to owner reply.
Don't be sorry it would have been a huge mistake to trust your dealership once again for 2023. What you are saying is a lie!!!! Maybe not on your part but your mechanics and or service staff, and now a lie by you the owner. I swapped the jets to a different size of Keihin jets. That is what I found when I took the carbs off. What VALLEY POWERSPORTS found not Sandpoint Motorsports. Was that the carb had Keihin jets not Mikuni jets. So you are wrong in saying "your errors(not factory or us)". The sled came from the factory with Keihin jets when the correct style should be Mikuni. Prior to Valley PS diagnosis I swapped from 220 Keihin jets to 210, 200 and 195 per owners manual for 4000-6000ft. That is jet size not style the manual I had didn’t specify the style of jet. I was simply sticking with Keihin cause it was the style I originally found in the sled. I am not a mechanic I know but I was making an attempt to fix a brand new 2022 sled so my son could go over 10 mph before winter was over and actually enjoy the sport. I had originally brought it back to Sandpoint Motorsports after first trip out. They were unable to fix it After three weeks of having it in their shop. Frustrated and them telling me it is just in break in still. I tried to fix it myself after multiple trips to the mountains to test and 2 additional weeks of my own time plus the three weeks at dealership. I still had brand new sled that wouldn't go over 10 mph. Brought it back to Sandpoint Motorsports who then took it to Valley Powersports. Where they found Keihin jets not Mikuni. When I take something apart I take the part to the dealership with me to show the service counter. This is what I did with the 220 Keihin jet I originally pulled. Your dealership the one in Sandpoint not Pinehurst then sold me Keihin jets in 210 - 195 range which I used to "MODIFY". My bad review is for Sandpoint Motors NOT Valley Powersports. I purchased a 2021 Khaos from them and couldn't of been happier with the sales and service team. If anything kudos to valley motors mechanics for finding the issue. Unfortunately you are their owner as well. After saying all that you don't have to worry about me ever stepping in your dealerships ever again. This review is purely to stop whoever I can from doing so as well. It doesn't stop with this review. Trust me EVERY chance I can possibly get to warn current or future customers I will take full advantage of.
Anyone that is reading this review trust me if this was my only issue with this dealership. I wouldn't even of wrote this review would have just forgot about it. The sales guys Cody and Rich both where great guys really enjoyed dealing with both of them. Cody was very knowledgeable with sleds and was a lot of help but the good ends there. Please listen to my warning and dont make same mistake I did!!!!!!!!!! Stay away from...
Read moreDropped off our Razr to have a belt replaced and serviced. When we picked up the razr, the male at the office had said that he has seen worse and everything’s good to go. When we brought it home, it wouldn’t start. Had called them and the male wanted to charge us a diagnostic fee. Talked to the service manager and he said to bring it back in with no charge. A few days later, the male had called and said that the engine was blown and there was no way they would have known. Odd to have paid for a $550 service when the engine is blown? The male had then said that there was only .5 quarts of oil when we brought it in which I know is incorrect because we checked the oil when the belt broke. He then said that he has it written down that it only had .5 quarts but my husband didn’t get the paper work stating it. He found the paper.. AFTER THEY GOT THE RAZR BACK AND DIAGNOSED IT. The male had quoted me $4500 to repair the engine with 12 hours of shop time. When he quoted me for the trade in, it came to $6,800-$4500(for the repairs) I know it doesn’t cost them the same amount to repair it so there was no wiggle room. At all. They offered $2400 towards a trade in or $2,000 cash. I had to go in to the building to have anything done. Customer service was terrible. I recently had purchased a 4wheeler from them last year and always had my razr serviced through them. NEVER GOING BACK. Going to report this company to the better business bureaus and hopefully something...
Read moreI previously had some problems with this dealership's service tech being rude to my wife over the brand of a winch we had selected. Because of this, when I dropped off my UTV for warranty work and it took three weeks to finish (during which I had to pay to have my driveway plowed, with my machine absent), I kind of had a bitter taste in my mouth. Actually, I was genuinely upset. However, when I went in and spoke with Mark, the head of the service department, he gave me pretty good verification that the bumper we needed had been delayed in shipping from Polaris and that I wasn't just being screwed around with. He also apologized for the other guy's attitude, and that goes a long way with me. Mark was very reasonable and told me to ask for him if I come back in needing parts or service, which I will. I hope the other guy who gave my wife problems can see that the way he treats people is important to the reputation of his company, but at least he isn't representative of the whole staff. So, I'm appending my previous review. Thanks Mark.
It's also worth mentioning that their sales department is good, I think. When I bought my machine last year they didn't try to up-sell me. Really no-nonsense on that side of things, which is the kind of sales person I don't mind...
