Wow. Speechless. Had no idea we had a German Food Truck in Sandpoint?! My ex husband is German so we have eaten authentic German cuisine from all over Germany and Austria - this was on par with the best they had to offer. I ordered the last of the Kase Spaetzle w/caramelized onions ($15.90) and an original German Sausage ($5). I wanted my daughter to try my favorite part of German cuisine. She loved it. Said the texture and taste were amazing and plans to return to order again. Really nice to have ethnic cuisine options that aren't the 'norm'. Highly recommend. The quality is worth the price. We are not food-truck patrons, but there’s not a lot of good restaurants around here, so we stopped at this quaint little trailer on the side of the road, and we were very glad we did. It’s difficult to find German restaurants to begin with, and we’re usually disappointed by them. Not here. This is the real deal, with everything totally fresh, hot and lovingly hand made by Irene, the super-nice German lady who owns the place. Beef "meatballs" were divine! Potato salad wonderful. Saurkraut absolutely fabulous. Bratwurst very tender and delicious. Cheese spread made great appetizer. Excellent iced coffee Exceptional treat to see the orange soda pop. The owner is an incredibly friendly and charming woman. The little touches of Germany homeland make the experience even more special. Plan on having her cater my next "girls night" .
