What a gorgeous treasure. Walking among the magnificent giants (trees) beautifully covered in moss and serenaded by sounds of birds by the serene Lake Crescent was an amazing day to spend earth day 2023. The trails are nice and flat around the moments in time trail. Hike to the Marymere falls is easy to moderate and has great viewing platforms to enjoy the cascading water from the falls. Take a little challenge and do the Storm King trail…It will leave you a little breathless and feel like on top...

It might seem an exaggeration, but I think this is one of the must stops if you visit Olympic national park. This short, 1/2 loop is a hidden gem. So beautiful, harmonious and peaceful... Just walking here alone with just the sounds of your steps, wildlife, falling drops from tree leaves and of course the majestic trees covered with moss, all the plants and the lake views and the mountains is superb. Do yourself a favor and save 30 minutes for this...

The info boards set up around the trail were also relevant and up to date too. Beautiful moss covered trees complete...
