Lighthouse Beach is a true gem, offering a blend of natural beauty and serene atmosphere that makes it a perfect getaway. Nestled along the coast, this beach is dominated by the majestic lighthouse that stands tall, giving the place its name and adding a picturesque charm to the scenery.
The beach itself is pristine, with soft, golden sands that are perfect for lounging. The clear, azure waters are inviting, making it an excellent spot for swimming and snorkeling. There's a gentle slope into the ocean, making it safe for families with children to enjoy the waves.
One of the standout features of Lighthouse Beach is its relatively uncrowded nature. It's not one of those overly commercialized spots; instead, it retains a peaceful, almost secluded feel. This makes it an ideal place for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You can easily find a quiet spot to set up for the day, whether you prefer to relax with a good book or take a leisurely stroll along the shore.
The area surrounding the beach is well-maintained, with plenty of facilities like clean restrooms and outdoor showers. There are a few quaint cafes and snack shacks nearby, offering delicious local fare and refreshing drinks. The lighthouse itself is open to visitors, and the climb to the top rewards you with stunning panoramic views of the coastline and the vast ocean beyond.
In the evenings, the beach takes on a magical quality. The sunset views are nothing short of spectacular, with the sky painted in hues of orange, pink, and purple, reflecting off the water. It's a perfect spot for a romantic walk or simply to sit and take in the beauty of nature.
Overall, Lighthouse Beach offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, tranquility, and convenience. Whether you're looking to relax, explore, or simply enjoy a beautiful beach day, this place has something to offer for everyone. Highly recommended for anyone in search of a little slice...
Read moreThe Lighthouse park itself is beautiful and scenic, but this review is for just the beach. They have a sign up, but my PSA anyways: The beach is very rocky/pebbly at the edge of the water. You WILL NOT have a good time swimming with those rocks grinding under your bare feet. At the edge of water, the beach goes deep real fast and not for the faint-hearted. On a moderately windy day, the waves are pretty high and choppy. The waves break right at the point on the beach where the sand ends and rocks start - so you can't even stand comfortably without getting whiplashed by the large breaking waves. If you fall, you WILL hit the knee on rocks and get a black one. The danger line and buoys are a mere few feet into the water. The ONLY fun you might have is with surfing. So, make sure to get a...
Read morePicture doesn’t do it justice but the water is actually really pretty, however the water is very very chubby, lots of big waves, it’s probably due to the fact that there’s so many boats that are going by and jet skis it’s creating a lot of waves and kinda hard to swim out here, the scenery is beautiful though if you just wanna come and sit on the beach and kinda dip your toes in a little bit then it’s perfect but other than that it’s kind of strong waves here. It is not dog friendly so you cannot bring your dog, there’s a couple picnic tables up under the trees and a couple grills, they do have a regular restroom by the beach that’s...
