Palmer Park — Attraction in Port Huron

Sprout City at Palmer park is amazing. We always have a great time in that gated area. It allows the kids to just RUN and not constantly be told "not too far" or "that is too big for you"! Everything in that area is good for the littles and the fence gives a safe and obvious boundary.

This park needs more baby swings. There aren't 2 next to each other. What about parents of twins? We had to put one baby in an adaptive swing (which I LOVE that these are available!) It doesn't make sense to me that we have sprout City at a park with only 2 baby swings that aren't even close...

An awsome place for kids. Apart from regular kids area , it has an interesting slide. Some days of the week its free some days paid rides. This particular slide is quite different than anything I have seen. My daughter enjoyed it so much she wanted us to move to Port Huron. There is a section of the park that mimcs a small town which again is quite interesting. Overall its a great place to be with young kids. Parking is limited, gets crowded especially during weekends. With Its proximity to beautiful beaches and river walks , no doubt it attracts lot...

I have to give a shout out to all the workers on the slide this summer! My grandson Zaiden is Autistic and they genuinely love to see him {we are there almost daily} and take such care with him, it truly warms my heart! It’s not always easy re- directing to like wait his turn etc, even then they are Amazing with him!! Whoever the parents are of these Kids that work here, are doing a great job!
