I was here on May 25. 2024 and Nestled along the shores of the St. Clair River, Point Edward is a charming community that offers visitors a truly scenic and tranquil experience. The highlight of this town is undoubtedly its stunning waterfront, which provides panoramic views of the serene river and the neighboring city of Port Huron, Michigan across the border.

The waterfront area features a well-maintained walkway and various parks, making it an ideal spot for leisurely strolls, fishing, or simply taking in the serene surroundings. The community also boasts a marina, which adds to the area's nautical charm. Visitors can watch the ships and boats navigate the international waters or enjoy a meal at one of the local restaurants with river-facing patios.

Overall, Point Edward is a gem for those seeking a peaceful escape with breathtaking natural scenery. Whether you're looking to relax, explore the outdoors, or simply enjoy the picturesque waterfront, this community is sure to leave a...

Waterfront Park in Sarnia is a serene escape nestled along the banks of the St. Clair River with wonderful views of the river! Everyone in our group enjoyed the panoramic views of the river, the sight of boats gliding by, and the wonderful landscaping.

We were there in early July and were quite impressed with the overall makeup of the park that features a paved walkway, several benches that can be used to view the river, and a nice playground area.

Another good aspect of this park in Sarnia is that there is plenty of free parking and there are also some very good French Fry food trucks scattered around the area.

If you are in Sarnia, I would for sure recommend...

The Blue Water Bridge, connecting Port Huron and Point Edward, was magnificent. The water in the St Clair River was really blue. There were many lovely seagulls. It was windy, the waves were tossing along the riverside. The waterfront view was so awesome that the locals came, bought fresh cut fries from the truck, parked their cars facing the river, sat in their cars, ate their fries and went. The waterfront was well maintained.
