Read moreAwesome 🛝playground and splash💧 park right on the river. There is a beautiful grassy area where they have 🧘🏻♀️yoga classes in the evening or great for a nice sunset picnic 🧺. It is very close to my house. Easy for an evening adventure with my grandchildren. We love to go here.
Only thing I do not like which is why gave 4/5. The water geysers for the splash pad at 730pm (turn off at 8 for the night) start adding more and more chlorine to the ratio of water. It starts to smell so strong it has me choking a bit. You can even see it bleaching the concrete where it a noticeable a difference in the color. My point is it starts to smell like dirty mop water and caused an irritation on my child’s skin. In my opinion they should wait until way later in the evening to run that cycle . When there aren’t children playing in it.
Other than that it is a wonderful outing with the kids. We always enjoy ourselves. Pleasant and peaceful way to get quality...
Read moreThe splash pad here is decent other than it's not shaded for the kids actually playing in the water. The benches are barely shaded. It's right next to the parking lot and busy ridgewood without a fence or any barrier to protect the kids from running away. The playground is practically unusable unless your child is between 6-10 and even then they'll get bored quickly. There's one slide with huge ladder steps, no swings. No shade at all on the playground. There's a bunch of wasted grassy space which they could've used to put in a playground for children under 5. Instead it's just empty space. The picnic tables are nice and covered. They have a lot of bathrooms and they're relatively clean. Honestly if my son (age 3) didn't enjoy the splash pad so much I would've given this park 2 stars which sucks because it's our newest park in...
