My wife and I used to go twice weekly. Slowly over the months this year we have gone less and less due to shrinking portions and higher prices.. After a month of not going, we went back again today to give it another chance, and were disappointed once again. But, for the last time.. Prices are higher, quality and quantity is wayyyy down. Especially the portion sizes, which are down roughly 30-40% (that's conservative). The tuna was also not fresh and wqs closer to a crimson-brown than your typical fresh poke tuna color. We will just drive across the bridge to Two Jerks Seafood to purchase our poke Tuna and make our own going forward. Better bang for our buck plus it's not like it's hard. LOL the only thing needing to be cooked is the rice. Based on the comments, it looks like other once-loyal customers feel the same way and all agree we're getting shafted on the portions. Great time for a competitor to move in and steal a large number of customers... a potential consequence to consider...
Read moreIf you want a poke bowl that’ll leave you drooling for more, Stoked Poke is a must stop, because that’s exactly what happened to me.
The bowls here are mega size, and they don’t skimp you on any toppings. That’s how it always should be. My bowl was absolutely phenomenal, and I made sure there were no leftovers because it didn’t deserve to be pushed to the side even for a little while.
I thought this store was pretty adorable too- it’s very surfer/ island themed which fits for a poke place. The employees were friendly-ish but overall could’ve been better. The one girl working was a bit snarky even to the customers before us so that was disappointing.
Oh, and they also have açaí bowls!! The others in my party got açaí and really enjoyed it. Those were just as stocked as the poke bowls so you really can’t go wrong with either option. Honestly, I had a hard time choosing which one I wanted more, so you’re set on either...
Read moreGreat place for a quick hearty and healthy option! My issue is that there's no tofu. Every single poke place I've ever been to has tofu as a protein option. They did have beans and avocado but still it's not that hard to have tofu. Also there was no nutritional facts listed as far as I could see. As a vegan I need to know if the sauces are vegan. Sometimes they contain fish sauce or eel. This is also not asking for much. The staff was very nice but they didn't know if the sauces were vegan or not. You do get the cool beachy vibes when you walk in. My friend and I did a BYOB (build your own bowl) with beans, all the veggies, and a few sauces that sounded vegan. It was delicious, and a huge serving for only $13. We also shared an açaí bowl, the Local bowl I believe. It was also large. Very tasty stuff! Please add tofu and depict what is Vegan/vegetarian on the menu and I'll...
