Overview: 5/5 We only went in for appetizers and drinks. So I cannot rate a full lunch or dinner experience yet… Ambiance : 5/5 This place is huge and has two levels. The lower level is enclosed and air conditioned. It had standard table and chairs and can accommodate small and large groups. It had covered outdoor area with fans. This is the only level that can accommodates ADA requirements. There was live music on the 2nd level. There is a full bar on both level. The upstairs is an open air deck that has high top tables that overlook the Halifax river. There is no rest rooms on this level but has an elevator or stairs to the 1st floor ones. Note: wheelchairs would not work on the open air deck as all the tables are high tops. Food/Drink 4/5 We had peel and eat shrimp (hot) that was excellent. We also ordered chicken wings. They were baked first and then finish them off grilling for flavor. They were a little too crispy for me but my wife loves them. If you don’t like them really crispy then ask them for a little less done. Drinks we kept simple with a couple of hard seltzer. Service : 5/5 Our waitress was pleasant, got our orders right and checked on us periodically. Conclusion : We will be back to give it a try for a full lunch or dinner experience.

The 1st time we attempted to go, my husband stood in line for almost 20 minutes at the check in desk with 5 people behind it and not one of the 5 even said anything to him and the rest of the line, so we left. We decided to try again, about a 30 min wait. Not bad, so we decided to wait. Looking in the restaurant, there were many tables empty, short staff I guess. We were seated at one of the tables I saw 30 min ago empty. Nice pleasant server. Drinks were expensive and small. We didn't order an appetizer just dinner. We checked the time that we were texted that table was ready. We waited over an hour and called for the manager. We also watched a busboy wipe a table with a dirty rag, he wore gloves, throw the rag on a servers wall, go right to a bin of wrapped silverware and pull some out. Same gloves. Witch we told the manager. A bus tray was carried away right over my back and dropped water down my back. The excuse we got for the hour wait was another server took ours by mistake. Not our problem, we are hungry! Food finally got there, my seafood dinner was over cooked and mushy. My husband's was "ok". The server had to beg the general manager for a 10 percent discount that we had already been promised because of the military discount. Wow?? We won't be back.

If you look… over 98% of my reviews are 4 stars or more… this one… was not. Atmosphere / Wait Arrived and was told 45 minute wait. All good. Seated us in 40 minutes which was great… but when we got inside there were 9 open tables.. I guess they are understaffed??? Ran out of kids menu so had to look up online… Place is beautiful and new but no A/C…. The indoor seating has the air off… it’s way hotter inside than outside seating.. for someone with 2 kids makes no sense.. since I knew they would say I’m lying below is a pic of the soft air duct not inflated.. not on.. burning up in there. Food 2/10 If you are a red lobster kind of person this place will do great… if you like local Daytona seafood like our deck or anything like this. It’s terrible. The nachos came on a pan with parchment paper… that had melted in the nachos….. see below… didn’t realize till the end so probably ate a ton of wax parchment paper…. the lobster roll was chewy. The fries were crispy and great. Kids burgers were good according to my 7 year old Service At one point I sat there for 25 min and didn’t see my server… forgot my salad (he did take it off the bill) just ok.. Drive 1 mile to our deck, aunt catfish, anywhere in Daytona blows this tourist trap out of the water. Avoid.

After posting my review below, the District Manager of Tiki Docks responded that they have fixed the problem with the odor upstairs. I went back to Tiki Docks to have lunch. The odor problem is gone because they fixed the piping and drains. However, the bathrooms were nasty and there were no paper towels to dry hands. And the entree I ordered was noticeably smaller. I had a friend join me who had never been to Tiki Docks before. He was disappointed in the portion size. There was barely any pulled pork in what he ordered. I was short at least two chicken tenders. Even the server noticed but nothing was done.

Here is my prior post: I have been a regular to Tiki Docks since it reopened from its prior establishment. Up until this week I would have given a good review. I brought friends there last week and went there for lunch today. I have been a regular. However, I have seen two things showing decline - the food quantity and the uncleanliness of the restaurant. Several customers, including myself, noticed the past 2 days a horrible odor coming from the bar area that made it impossible to enjoy being there. A disgusting stench. For those that have experienced parties when they were in college, it's the odor that comes from rotten beer and alcohol mixed with cleaning chemicals. It was very strong and throughout the top floor. It was not an odor coming from low tide because it was not low tide and and it is a beautiful day. The stench was coming from inside the bar area and from the bottom of the stools. Many people left. Some people left disgusted without ordering. It's nasty. The other odor came from people smoking marijuana. No one that worked there addressed the smoking. Mixing those two odors made it impossible to enjoy being there. Also disappointing was the meal portion. I ordered a chicken tenders platter and got an appetizer portion. I've ordered the platter before. Their chicken tenders are excellent but they're cutting back on their portions. This is what happens when a restaurant starts out at anew and gets busy. They are neglecting the finer things. As such, I'm probably not going to go back. I live close by and was making it my regular place to be. The view is fantastic. The staff is great. But it reeks. The bathrooms are nasty. You have to go downstairs to get to the bathroom. Many people complained about that while I was there. The bathrooms are very dirty. They are not cleaned at all during the day from lunch time to closing. It's just nasty and not the way a restaurant...

My daughter wanted to have her family/friend 18th birthday dinner at Tiki Docks. Party of 17. Called a few days prior and was told to call ahead a couple hours from getting there. Was told, at that time, there's a possibility of a few minute wait as they don't take reservations. Being in the industry for 35 yrs myself, I understood. The whole party was there at the time, 6pm last night (3/9/25) and were told we'd have an hour and a half wait. All the manager on duty kept saying was "I apologize, I apologize, I apologize " I said please dont say that again. What are you going to be able to do for us because a few minutes and an hour and a half wait is not even close. We were supposed to sit up top which we had to give up just to "possibly" reduce our wait time. We still waited almost an hour to be sat where we didn't request. Then, it took another 15-20 min to get acknowledged by a server. She was obviously overwhelmed. She came around and took drink orders and apps...the apps came out before our drinks even did! A guy server from up top had to come help her, which was very nice of him but now his section was needing his attention. As past GM myself, I watched the MOD and just saw her in the server station chatting and giggling with some of the staff. I mean I'm sorry but she should have been running food, drinks whatever to help these FOH employees. It was the last day of bike week, a beautiful night....maybe try and staff accordingly next time or if you had call outs, jump in and HELP!! We got there at 6pm and didn't leave until close to 930pm.

On a positive note, the food was good except the lettuce on my burger was wilted and soggy probably from sitting in the window too long and I was served the wrong side with my meal. My guy and I have been coming since Fysh and love the atmosphere upstairs at the bar when it's just the 2 of us. Have never had an issue until we bring enough people for table service. In the future, we will come back but not for family or friends birthdays,...

Really disappointed in my most recent trip to Tiki Docks. Previous visits have been fine. I was never blown away by the food but it was acceptable and the atmosphere made it worth it.

Last night was awful. Firstly, even if the food had tasted good the preparation and presentation was horrible. We started with the pork nachos. 90% of the chips had nothing on them. All of the ingredients were on one corner of the tray just thrown on in a pile. The chips were stale and the pork tasted leftover.

I had a blackened chicken caesar salad for my entree. Just like the nachos, the dressing on the salad was just on one small part. It was the least attractive salad I have ever had in a restaurant. My wife had chicken wings which tasted like the wings you get at a cheap pizza restaurant. Our friends had a seafood combo and salmon, both served so sloppily they weren't appetizing.

Our server was friendly but because we were upstairs it took forever to get a missing sauce or anything else from the kitchen. Normally I wouldn't even mention or care about that but the food was so poorly prepared everything started to get on my nerves.

Maybe the management would have corrected some of it but I didn't say anything. We were upstairs and the live music was so loud I couldn't handle the thought of yelling over the music at the manager. Not a complaint about the music, by the way. We wanted to sit near the band. It just wasn't an environment to have a conversation with a manager.

It was all very disappointing. It is such a cool restaurant and when Tiki Docks opened I was hopeful they would be serious about their food. However, it seems they are going the way of all these big flashy corporate water front restaurants. They think they are giving you atmosphere and a view so they can skimp on the food.

I'll go back for drinks because it is a cool place but there are plenty of other places nearby to eat.

Probably wouldn't care as much if I didn't have such high hopes for the place. So...
