Great game! Sale, from the Red Sox was the starting pitcher, and the Sea Dogs won in one extra inning. I drove to Portland in the pouring rain, but it slowed down just an hour from the original game time as I was parking for $10 in a garage on Forest Street just a short walk away from the ballpark. The friends I was meeting there parked for $10 in an outside lot right across the street from Hadlock, but their timing was perfect. The lot was packed before they crossed the street. Another couple I was meeting who needed disability parking were able to find a spot in the handicapped lot just to the left of the entrance. When we got to our seats the kind man who helped us find them dried them with a towel and continued to do this for all new arrivals. There was a slight sprinkle, but the crew kept preparing the field. The game was delayed by only 45 minutes, but between a blueberry ale, a large pretzel with a little mustard, and good company the time was well spent. Scanning the QR code on my ticket made it so I could order a Sea Dogs cap, the game day special for $15, right from my phone and have it delivered to me at my seat by a polite young man. Once the game had started, we were no longer concerned about the predicted possibility of rain and thunderstorms. The game kept us on the edge of our seats, and the sun was shining brightly by the 4th inning. So, if you're ever bored in Maine you can always feel free to "take me out to the ball game!"

Giving a 4 because most visits to Hadlock for the Seadogs are stellar. Great view, opportunity to see some up and coming players and they serve good beer with Fenway Franks! This visit was less than stellar. Please figure out how to do groups more efficiently. The concessions were jammed with a very large group of teenagers all ordering and paying separately. I’m all for youngsters at these games but let’s face it, they struggle to remain focused on the game without supervision and there was simply no organization or sense of urgency in the lineups. Many people (like me) who wanted to get back to their seats and to watch the game (and look forward to coming to Hadlock for one game a year) we’re very frustrated while waiting 3 full innings to purchase food and drinks. Rest assured, I’ll be back as this was only one negative experience where my husband and I have made many happy memories and hope to make many more. - lifelong Seadogs and Hadlock Field patron

4-7-2023 Update: New owners. I'm nervous that after 28 years of being a family-owned team, Diamond Baseball Holdings is now at the helm. But, so far, no major changes are evident and the season ahead looks to be a lot of fun with great promotional events planned. 7-18-21 UPDATE - Awesome Seadogs Biscuits have returned now that Gifford's of Maine is making them. (They had gone way downhill.) Two soft, delicious, chocolate chip cookies with real, hard, vanilla ice cream sandwiched in between; so good! And, the baseball is good too! 2019 Review: Another of Maine's great family options. It's a beautiful ballpark and the Seadogs organization does a great job at providing entertainment, food and fun beyond the quality baseball.

A beautiful baseball field where the Boston Red Sox affiliated AA team Portland Sea Dogs play ball. Super family friendly, and tickets, food and drinks, including beer, are very reasonably priced. Plentiful parking available for reasonable rates ($10) or free streetside parking if you're early or lucky. Many famous and popular Red Sox players have gotten their big break in Portland, and the pros usually have a rehab start along the way back to the bigs. Honestly, I can't stress enough how the entire experience is designed to be family friendly, and kids involved. The best basebell bang for your buck short of Fenway Park, and a whole lot cheaper. Do yourself and your family a favor and go watch the Dogs play.

I've been attending Seadogs games since I was a child and one thing that keeps me coming back for more as an adult is the pure baseball treasure that is Hadlock Field. Perfect for the whole family, Hadlock has reasonably priced beer and food with a few games such as speed pitch around the park for the kids to enjoy. Slugger is a classic mascot to laugh at. I went on firework night and damn near the whole stadium stayed an extra 30 minutes to see the surprisingly impressive display. The crew knows how to keep the crowd entertained in between innings and heck, theres even a baseball game going on. Went 3 times this year and almost every game was sold out! Mainers sure do love their Seadogs.

We went to the game for a special event, most improved students. This is an event put on by NextGen. All the students with family go down on the field before the game. The students' names are shown up on the big screen. It was a great family day. They do have food, drinks, and ice cream available for purchase. They also have souvenirs available to buy. There is really not a bad seat in the whole stadium. You can see the whole field from anywhere you sit. They do activities on the field with kids in between the innings. They are very family oriented. It is exciting when a Seadogs player hits a homerun.. There is a lighthouse that pops out in the center field with sparklers. Fun.
