Little Lady (my CKC Spaniel) & I regularly walk through the varied terrain of Southeast Portland's spacious Public Park adjacent to Woodstock Elementary School, as we come & go between home & the Woodstock Neighborhood shopping & entertainment areas.
A neighborhood park bounded on its north and most-easily accessed along SE Steele Street from SE 47th Ave to SE 50th Ave. *Limited CURBSIDE PARKING ONLY!. Of course, the Open Space / Off-Lease Dog Park is a MAJOR attraction for Lady & her friends ( Look! A Squirrel! )

Read moreShade trees! Baby swings! 4 stars because there is the off leash area next to the kid’s playground. Dogs out of control on the playground can cause problems at times. I have stepped in it more than once.

Great playground with lots of baby swings, toddler play area with tiny slide and playhouse.
All the good hazardous structures: merry go round, teeter totters, metal slide, pull up bars and swings.
Good drinking fountain (once in a while entitles dog owners let their dog drink out of this fountain by having them put their front paws on it, so use at your own risk)
The best thing is it is very close to the Woodstock elementary school playground so you get two playgrounds to use (not so many dogs over there) and a baseball diamond and field to play catch or frisbee.
