Little Lady (my CKC Spaniel) & I regularly walk through the varied terrain of Southeast Portland's spacious Public Park adjacent to Woodstock Elementary School, as we come & go between home & the Woodstock Neighborhood shopping & entertainment areas.

A neighborhood park bounded on its north and most-easily accessed along SE Steele Street from SE 47th Ave to SE 50th Ave. *Limited CURBSIDE PARKING ONLY!. (Shared with Seasonal Sports Activities.) *TRIMET Routes -10 (on Steele ), -19 (on Woodstock ), -71 (on 52nd), -75 (on Woodstock. ) *Portland Bicycle Routes *paved sidewalks *Groceries, Restaurants nearby.

We enjoy our visits in every Season, with delights for the senses & hearts of artists, poets, pets and Children-of-all-ages.

Of course, the Open Space / Off-Lease Dog Park is a MAJOR attraction for Lady & her friends ( Look! A Squirrel! )

Walking / biking paths. Jogging paths for exorcisers (pun intended.) Tree-shaded Picnic Areas (Reserve @ PPB website.) Sports Fields (Often Reserved. See PPB website.) Toddler Play Areas near WES school grounds. Well-maintained Public Restroom structures.

*All facilities are ADA-Compliant.

-DAYTIME USE ONLY- -NO CAMPING- -SOME USES RESTRICTED DURING SCHOOL HOURS -

Woodstock Park is an absolute treasure in the heart of Portland. This park offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and recreational amenities, making it an ideal spot for everyone.

The walking paths are beautifully shaded by tall trees, providing a serene environment for a peaceful stroll or a brisk walk. The well-maintained playground is a hit with kids, offering a variety of equipment that keeps them entertained for hours. The expansive green lawns are perfect for picnics, playing frisbee, or simply lying down with a good book.

For dog owners, Woodstock Park is a paradise. The open spaces are perfect for letting your furry friends run around and play. My dog absolutely loves our visits here, and it's always a joy to see so many other dogs having a great time.

The park is impeccably clean and well-maintained, with plenty of benches and picnic tables. There are also sports facilities, including baseball fields, which are great for a game with friends or family.

Woodstock Park truly has something for everyone, whether you're looking to relax, exercise, or have some fun with your family. It's a must-visit for anyone in the...

Shade trees! Baby swings! 4 stars because there is the off leash area next to the kid’s playground. Dogs out of control on the playground can cause problems at times. I have stepped in it more than once.

On site bathroom (for humans) in the summer months.

Great playground with lots of baby swings, toddler play area with tiny slide and playhouse.

All the good hazardous structures: merry go round, teeter totters, metal slide, pull up bars and swings.

Good drinking fountain (once in a while entitles dog owners let their dog drink out of this fountain by having them put their front paws on it, so use at your own risk)

The best thing is it is very close to the Woodstock elementary school playground so you get two playgrounds to use (not so many dogs over there) and a baseball diamond and field to play catch or frisbee.

Kids can ride safely around the play courts around the school as well as the trails around Woodstock park. So bring your rollerblades,...

I had a fantastic time at Woodstock Park! The park is next to Woodstock Elementary, and the abundance of space is great for various activities. The old fashioned playground brought a nostalgic charm and was a hit with both kids and parents. There is a baseball field, soccer field, two tennis courts, and a picnic area in the shade. Plus, the presence of public restrooms was a definite convenience. There's an unfenced area for playing with dogs. The dogs are technically supposed to be on leash, but people often have them loose and playing fetch. It's a wonderful place for families, sports enthusiasts, and anyone looking to have a fun and active day outdoors.
