The employees now get hostile if you refuse to use their strange "drop-box" system.
What could have been a same-day troubleshoot over me missing a single page from my renewal packet turned into a 3-week roundabout where I handed in the paperwork then a week later I got a call from my case-manager stating she would need to mail me that paperwork (which took about a week) and YET AGAIN when I went to hand in that paper I was aggressed over refusing to use the drop box! Absolutely ridiculous! If you'll "go get it in an hour" why can't I just HAND it to you? If it's a labor shortage issue, that's a YOU problem that has nothing to do with me! Expect less of your employees so they can go back to doing their jobs thoroughly the first time around!
My refusal is absolutely entitled, you've lost paperwork regarding my account through the drop box 3 times, I'm NOT using it again regardless of your reassurances! You've proven to me that it's not reliable! Don't make it WORSE by AGGRESSING me then as well!
Update: After filing a complaint they now answer their phones again, wow! And you ARE allowed to ask them to call you, them being 'too busy to do phone calls' was against policy! But now you can expect to be interrupted and talked over by their switchboard people because the job is SO overwhelming!
If you can't deal with the public decently, close your doors. I'm so sick of this place never improving, instead finding new ways to make it our problem. Got all but yelled over because I was telling him what I needed info on. Then he got short with me because I didn't have a pen and paper to write something down, when nothing told me to be prepared like this. And subsequently he took 2 minutes to transfer me, making me wonder if he had dropped the call. Correct this, it's unacceptable. His job is to redirect me not patronize me and make me feel like I'm inconveniencing him.
What is happening. I cannot name the last time I had a problem free interaction with someone at this location or relating to it. It's disgusting. Teach your people how to be decent human beings before allowing them to interact with the public. Otherwise as many of the community have said before me, shut your doors. We would rather you not be here than actively make our lives more difficult.

They stopped my food stamps because I missed a telephone appointment that I did not know I had a d there is no call from them in my call logs and no voicemail either. I didn't even get a renewal packet in the mail until AFTER I submitted my renewal online which I had a hard time figuring out how to do. But, it was done before the end of the previous month which is when it was due. I live with my 13yr old son and my mom who has Alzheimer's and now we are pretty much out of food. A friend helped us with some. I tried to mail in the form for a fair hearing but the mail delivery person did not take my mail. Don't know why. But, how can they cut my food stamps when I have a child and a senior citizen with a major disability here??!! That should be illegal! And like I said, my call logs show they never called me for this appointment but, yet it's my fault... Makes no sense and now we are hungry and having to use what little money we have. I don't care if I go hungry but, I cannot let my son be hungry. And my mom and are have always been separate households but, her name is all of a sudden on my household for food stamps. So, did she lose hers too? I have no clue. But, this is a terrible thing to do to someone who has a child. And there are no food...

I’ve been applying for years to get help with food stamps etc. I’ve always been denied even when I read online the income guidelines and fit the budget, I’ve had all very nasty case workers in county’s- Lehigh, and carbon (carbon being the worst) but this time my case worker was friendly from the beginning she went above and beyond she was fast acting on my case for me she helped me in one of my hardest times. I thanked her today on the phone for everything she’s done for me and she almost seemed shocked when I thanked her. This lady truly cares about people and I’m so grateful for everything she’s done for my family In the last few weeks. I wanted to leave a positive review for her also because she 100% deserves it and to be recognized.
