I cannot say enough positive things about this location. While this is a long review- if you are considering buying or servicing your vehicle here- it is worth the read.
Late afternoon Friday, I was traveling with a 5, 3, and 1 year old from Maryland to PA to visit family. Two hours into our trip, my car alerted me that my engine was overheating, and I had to pull over on the side of 78. My husband was about 2.5 hrs away at the time, so naturally, I panicked. I never had to deal with breaking down on the highway, never mind with three small children and a car packed with luggage.
I called the closest Dodge dealer from my location, and explained my situation. I was quickly cut off by the service manager stating 1. They do not do engine work on the weekends, they only do this on weekdays, and 2. They could not provide me a rental vehicle because this is only available to customers who purchased their vehicles through them. She quickly disconnected the call and made it clear she would not take steps to assist me in the situation, despite my fear/panic that was expressed as I sat on the side of the highway unsure how safe it was, or how serious the issue with my vehicle was.
Sure, I could have sat on the side of the highway with my kids for 2.5 hours until my husband made it to us, but it was also 80 degrees, and I couldn't even have my car running, so it would have been very difficult, especially given they had already been in their car seats for two hours prior to this occurring.
So, I called the next location which was Bob Weaver Dodge dealer in Pottsville. This location was about 25 minutes away from where I broke down, but I figured I'd give it a second shot, and I am very glad I did.
Brianne, their service manager, took my call. And while it was true that they didn't service engines until Monday- she assured me if I had my vehicle towed there, she would give me the very first appointment Monday morning at 7am with their master technician to have it looked at. Not only that, she took the extra step to speak with her superior, and she managed to ALSO provide me with a rental vehicle that was large enough to accommodate my three small children to get to our destination safely. While Bri could have rushed me off the phone and told me the same thing as the first dealer, she didn't. She went above and beyond to assure we were taken care of. Not only that, she even went on to have me describe my location to make sure my family was in a safe area until we could get a ride to the dealer.
As promised, my vehicle was serviced very early this week, and my family was able to safely travel back to Maryland with NO issues whatsoever after my repairs.
If this doesn't speak volumes about their service/repair, and just in general them being kind, generous human beings. I don't know what else would. Bri could have very easily done what the first dealer did. Despite that it was nearing end of business day Friday, she stayed in touch with me throughout the entire situation until it was seen through. I am eternally grateful for her, as she made a frightening situation very easy to navigate. I will...
Read moreThis is probably the second review I've ever done in my 45 years of life I purchased a new Jeep in 2018 and still have the same vehicle to this day just recently paid it off this past January I had a slight Hit and Run where the person took off and of course I had to pay a $500 deductible Etc. I did not have a warranty left since the car was paid off and we were customers since 2018 meaning all of our service was done by Bob Weaver's on our vehicle I was so thankful to hear that they had a collision center. I was very grateful to continue to have Bob Weaver's Company be the one to fix the damage on our vehicle I can say over the past six and a half years my car has only been touched by that dealership and their workers and I've always had Great Encounters in all departments. It was a very frustrating time as you can understand what your car getting hit and somebody just leaving the scene they were very polite and patient with me and helped me in every way shape or form. I just want to say thank you to the service Department for informing me that they had a collision center and had Jared who I believe works at the Collision Center come up to the service station and look at my vehicle while I was there 3 days after the accident to get my oil change and inspection. Like I said all departments have been courteous polite and understanding and patient over the last 6 and 1/2 years. I hope I can remember the names of all the people that helped me at the Collision Center you have to have patience and understanding in that kind of work field. It was a very trying time as you can imagine for every person I encountered there Ryan, Kyle, Lori and even down to the front desk person Sam were very polite and understanding as well as informative. I received updates almost daily on the progress of my vehicle and they made accommodations for me as well with short notice. I don't know if I mentioned this before but I do not do reviews but this place deserves recognition and not just in the Collision Center the ladies and gentlemen in both service stations. They make it a comfortable while you're having a service done whether it be an oil change inspections Tires Tires rotations Etc there's soda pop coffee popcorn a comfy waiting room in both service stations even a section for children. So if you're looking to get your car fixed from an accident or looking for to purchase a vehicle or service on your vehicle don't hesitate to give them a...
Read moreLet me start from the beginning and will sum this up quite quick to give everyone reading this an easy understanding. My car was involved in a flood and this was the place I was told to take my car with the insurance that I have. I will not say names but they know who they are. First and foremost, the reception lady was miserable and mean as hell every time i talked to her. The rudeness was ridiculous but I always kept my cool. She told me my car would 99% be totaled since it was involved in a flood. Well long story short, it wasn't. They try to fix it and give me my car back damaged and then I am told that the damage couldn't have been done by them initially. They eventually acknowledged it was their fault and fixed my car. Without me bringing this up though, would they have fixed it? No. They gave me my car back damaged and it was not something easy to miss. Regardless, they try to fix all the issues wrong with my car. They fix my 02 sensor after Ive had issues. The issues still persisted and they said it was out of their hands and I needed to go down all these rabbit holes to get my car fixed properly. Nonetheless, it never got resolved and 6 months of my time was wasted trying to get my car back to what it was like before the flood. This dealership and the people working within it were some of the worst customer relationship experiences I have ever had and do not recommend anyone going to this place. Miserable employees are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the entire company as a whole. Stay wary and Im sure there are some great people there but let me tell you, my experience was hell and I hope nobody ever has to go through that again. PS. I had to get rid of my car due to the issues that were persistent. None of these issues happened before the flood.
Here is a detailed picture of the damage occurred on my car. This was my first red flag and after I received my car back the first time with this damage, I knew I was gonna be in a tough spot with the insurance company and this dealership as soon as I pieced what happened together.
Not to mention. The mechanics were the ones that did this. And quote from a phone call with one particular insurance agent regarding this situation, "Good luck in court because these guys went to school and are professionals and you are not, you will not win" . Oh yes, these "PROFESSIONALS" did this to my car and didn't say a word lol. Seriously can't...
