I hosted my son's second birthday party here. This is a great place for a birthday party if you plan in advance. The summer is peak season, so without a pavilion reservation in place, I recommend arriving early or you may not be able to enter the park. I booked the Starfish Pavilion which accommodated 30 people. The cost was $30 and I booked this online at the Seven Springs Water Park Website. I believe you can book the reservation online or in person, and the deposit is due when you book. My only regret was not booking the larger pavilion which accommodates 60 people (it costs $60). I decided to reserve 30 slots because I thought that less than 30 guests would come out to celebrate. It turns out that my family and friends brought plus ones, and plus threes, and I had about eleven extra people (and I had to ask for some to leave in order to accommodate my allotted 30 guests), which caused a headache, because the park was over capacity. The security guard was Top Flight Security of the world (Think Friday after Next with Mike Epps). The park only allows 600 people (This includes the small babies that cannot walk or talk & adults that are not swimming), and once they reach capacity, they will not let any more people in. This means that the extra people will have to stand in line and wait, until some of the people that are already inside the park leave. Pre-paid Birthday parties were already accounted for, so the capacity limit included the pre paid slot that I reserved weeks before. My $30 did not include the cost to enter the park, but it was still beneficial because the people without a pre paid reservation were waiting in line for over an hour. I ordered food in advance the day before. For $130, I received 3 20 Inch Pizzas, 10 Caprisons, 10 bottles of water, and 20 vouchers for Italian Ice. We loved the Italian Ice. The guests (adults and children) loved the pizza. I was able to bring my own decorations and cake. My son genuinely enjoyed his birthday party here. He loved the water. This is a great place for toddlers, elementary school aged children, teens, and adults. The family and friends that came really enjoyed their selves and our kids really had a blast. I will come back just for fun and book a pavilion again. Overall there was great customer service. Here are some additional tips to guarantee a great time and avoid a headache. 1) Please ask your guests to rsvp at least 3 days before, so that you can write down the names and have them ready for security, the day of the party. 2) Ask guests to arrive no later than an hour after the party starts, so that you do not have to keep confirming guests with the security guard. 3) Advise your guests to bring ONLY the people that they RSVP for. 4) Reserve food the day before to avoid long lines (I actually did this, and they brought the food right to our pavilion.) 5) Arrive early. The park has two shifts 12:30-3:30 PM and 4:30-7:45 PM. My party was from 4:30-7:35, so I recommend arriving at 4 PM. This helps you to have time to set up your pavilion, pre pay for any guests within your party, and add any last...
ย ย ย Read moreThe water park itself is okay for the admission rate. However; it's only open in three hour increments and you have to pay an additional admission if you want to attend both sessions. Forget about spending a day at the pool since it closes at 3:00 and doesn't reopen until 4:00.
Now to the real issue, I don't mind paying an entry fee, but WHAT is the money being used for? The basketball hoops in the pool look as if they have never been replaced. They are rusted and dingy. Even a fresh coat of paint would be beneficial. The "concession stand" sells the exact same thing each year. No variety. The chairs...I don't even know where to start. I don't know why these chairs were purchased in the first place. They are white and filthy so please take two towels to cover them. The chair is like a transformer. You have to do so much work to pull the footrest out only for the legs to be weak and will collapse if you aren't careful getting in and out of the chair. You would think you could hold on to the arms of the chair should the legs begin to give, right? Wrong! The arms of these chairs are like no other I have ever seen. You are supposed to use the arms to recline. Joke. It reclines unevenly and then for whatever reason one of the arms always gives no matter how careful you are. So you can be reclining and all of a sudden, just fall back on one side. It's ridiculous. I can't believe no one has gotten hurt in them and sued.
Cobb County Department of Recreation needs to do much better. I am sure the grounds and chairs at the Marietta Splash Park and any other northern Cobb water parks are...

They cleaned it but washed it down where people walk. It smelledlike vomit for the wntientire visit. The waterslide lifeguards did not adequately watch the water slide pool, allowing people to slide before the pool was clear. Someone slid down and landed on my son. I was trying to get him out of the way. Thee pool lifeguard was taking a dip in the pool looking into the sky and not paying attention to the pool to make sure everyone was out of the way before another swimmer went down the alode. A woman changed her baby's diaper on the side of the pool. She dunked her bare baby into the lazy river. Then she diapered him again. She was in the lazy river while she was doing this. She was not ejected from the water park. The pool was not closed to add chlorine or check levelz. I reported this incident. Nothing was done. It is sad because someone will get sick here and the water parkwill be ddeteriorate due to lack of care sooner...
