Tons of booths & a great variety of items to choose from! We showed up just after 4:30 on Friday evening and due to being in a hurry I wasn't able to really go through all of the booths and check everything out but I did find some really great items. I would give them 5 stars if it wasn't for the HORRENDOUS experience we had at the cash register. The young man that was checking us out was super sweet and professional but the other woman working the front was one if the rudest people I've come across! Based on what unfolded I'm assuming he was still in training, as he began to check us out and pull the tags off all my glasses she started to rush and micromanage him on everything he was doing, during this she found some sticky notes in a binder and for lack of better words lost her sh*t. Starts yelling at this boy, calling him out on what he was doing wrong in one of the most degrading manners I've witnessed. It really blew me away, this poor kid was clearly embarrassed which caused him to go slower as he wrapped all my glasses in paper and she continued her tyranny against him as more people crowded the check out stand. He was barely able to keep a calm demeanor as he finished us and moved onto the next guest all the while she is yelling at him and practically screaming into the overhead system for everyone to come to the front and check out so she could close. I get everyone's time is important and she may of had Friday evening plans but being rude to your associates and a store full of people is not the way to go. If I owned an antique establishment and had a store packed full of people I wouldn't want them all disrespected and kicked out mid shopping experience. This girl started her meltdown around 5:30 and the store closes at 6:00.... Completely ridiculous. I won't be back and will definitely share my experience with those I know into...
Read moreWARNING RUN BY CROOKS!!! Been a merchant there almost since they opened. Over 5 years in the location. Over the years became their largest dealer. Moved out of town several months ago. Since that time and the fact that invoices are not mailed to you I've been going by taking care of my rent a couple of months at a time. So it became common that I would pay for two months rent at one time. The new owners used a loophole in their rental agreement without any notification to me saying I was behind on my rent and therefore confiscated all my merchandise in all one dozen of my booths. Went in last week to pay my rent , as I have been doing since I moved and found some of my booths have been closed and all my merchandise have been stolen by the owners. Standard operating procedure had become to accept my rent in the manner I was paying a couple of months at a time out of the blue they decided to take advantage of the situation and steal all my merchandise after all those years. Just a warning from an experienced vender this is has treasure hunt now...
Read moreUsually a favorite spot of mine but donât know if I will return after this past incident. Wanted to buy a beautiful antique style chandelier for my boyfriendâs father for Christmas⌠seems to be a reasonable ask at the antique store right? Wrong. I found this piece marked for $85 but couldnât get it that day because it was âhard wiredâ into the store. Odd to me since this is a place you go to buy and take home things but thatâs okay. Things happen. I leave my name and number and didnât hear anything from them for over a week. I called and another worker assured me they will get it down and sold to me after the Thanksgiving holidays. I just received a call that the chandelier isnât for sale anymore? I donât understand how a piece at an antique store that youâve been told by two employees that it is for sale suddenly is not anymore? Very upset with this outcome and wasted over two weeks on a piece that would have been a very special gift. Also left confused? Overall very...
