The Highland Center was a great mid morning activity. It has walking trails that are wheelchair accessible as well benches along tje trail for those who want to rest and ponder. The center has ongoing nature programs, seasonal art performances and onsite docets that will have hands on demonstrations. There are shady places to sit and relax, there are restrooms, and a even a lovely small playground that's geared toward 3-5.
