Neutaconkanut Park and Hill Skatepark — Attraction in Providence

Not as showy or manicured as Roger Williams Park, but trash cans are present, work on the park was being done, and the ballfield is locked/kept nice. Decent, short hiking paths. Stairs at one part of trail and paved pathways are both in good condition. Nice view of the city from an observation railing. Two sloped areas: one looks good for kid sledding and one looks like dangerous fun lol! The skatepark area is really cool, with lots of features to work off of if you skate or BMX. Folks with dogs kindly kept distance, didn't try to force themselves or their dogs...

The city of Providence should be absolutely ashamed by the lack of proper lighting at this park.
