Dollar General — Local services in Providence

Used to like Dollar General,I always ran in for small items. Things I purchase are less expensive than Family Dollar.Check dates on everything!! This store has no customer service skills at all..I've been in customer service my entire career therefore I know EXACTLY WHAT EMPLOYEES shouldn't do..ie.Yell at customers,swear at customers(F word) Chase customers out the door and Get Up in their Faces like you want to assault them! I wish it were video taped..and the Mgr stands by and Watches !!...

I was shopping and found two foam swords and because the employee said they should have been pulled off the shelves she said she would check with the manager she came back without them I asked her where the swords went she said she put them away because they were supposed to be pulled off the shelves weeks ago. I stated about the penny policy and she said she was told to put away very very diappointed that's she refused to uphold dollar generals...

Love it the staff always helpful never have a complaint that couldnt be resolved... The cashiers are the most politely cashiers i have ever encountered the assistant manager is the best always multitasking and the store allways in excellent condition ...and the manager i believe is Dina she is wonderful she goes the extra mile to make our experiences there...
