We just got married May 20! It was an amazing day, in large part due our venue, Roger Williams Park Casino. We currently only have family-taken photos, but I will update the post when our professional photos come back.
The Casino was really the perfect choice for us! We have always loved RW Park, and the Casino is an absolutely gorgeous historic building within the park. Typically, if you have a ceremony there, it is outside at the Bandstand, but luckily we had a rain plan, because it rained all day. We had our ceremony in front the fireplace on the first floor, cozily hearing rain drops hit the big windows all around us. There was plenty of covered veranda (and the Bandstand!) for outdoor photos. Read moreWhat an amazing venue to get married at! We had our ceremony at the bandstand outside the Casino, cocktail hour was on the first floor and the reception was in the ballroom upstairs. We had 86 guests at 10 tables and we fit comfortably sitting for dinner. The floors were just redone this past winter so the place looked brand new. Heather was so helpful every step of the way, always quick to email me back. It's a stunning venue, nice bathrooms, elevator, etc. The one negative was that the air conditioning was very weak. The main entrance opens into a quaint area you can check in your coat, meet friends, etc. However, the real magic is located upstairs.
