Brave the Alligator Park in Houston 🐊 | Brazos Bend State Park

I Finally Visited the Alligator Park I’ve Been Wanting to Go to 🐊 | J-Type’s 100% Action Power🎉 This park still feels quite under-the-radar—hardly any Chinese visitors, probably because most people are scared of these creatures . ✨ I’m terrified of alligators too, but I’m the type who’s "too chicken but can’t resist the fun." Here’s some info for friends who want to go exploring:☀️ 🏠- Brazos Bend State Park has 25 officially registered trails in total, with routes taking anywhere from 30 minutes to a full day. Choose one based on your needs. 🌟 Most Recommended Route: 40 Acre Lake Trail + Spillway Trail Loop (approximately 1.8 miles, loop). It’s the most classic and popular one—and the route I took. - You’ll run into other visitors along the way. Everyone keeps an eye out for alligators; when someone spots one, they’ll alert others. Even passersby will tell you where to find alligators up ahead—people are so friendly . 🌈 But remember to keep a safe distance and never feed them. ⚠️ Important Notes 🎫 Admission: $7 per car (charged by vehicle). ⏰ Hours: 8 AM to 10 PM; last entry is at 9 PM.🏖️🏖️ - The gift shop supposedly has baby alligators and snakes you can view up close and even touch, but it was closed when I went, so I missed out. 🦟 Bring mosquito repellent—absolute must! There are tons of bugs. I bought some at the ticket booth and didn’t get bitten. 💦 Bring plenty of water for hiking—you can never have enough! 🐊 Best Time to See Alligators Two hours after sunrise or two hours before sunset—plus a little luck 🍀. A lady I met there said she’d been four times and never seen such big alligators, but I spotted two huge ones on my first visit. I’ll pass on my good luck to you all, haha! But always keep a safe distance.🌟🌟 A local guy ahead of me was super bold and got really close, but I stayed about five meters away to take photos.✨ I stood to the side because I was scared—passing them head-on was thrilling enough. Later, though, I looked it up and found out alligators attack faster from the side… ❣️ It was such an exciting, fresh experience. True to Texas’ down-to-earth vibe—I highly recommend going for an adventure, just stay safe! #Houston #Texas #StatePark #AlligatorPark #Wildlife #Predators #Alligator #Hiking #AmazingWildlifeEncounter
