"I and my dog love this park. Truly an oasis." I've come back to edit this after several years of going here. I am sad to say that lots of large dogs and their owners come into this park not caring If it threatens the small dogs. Softballs have come flying into this park many times and almost hit my dog in the head as well as myself. The city doesn't seem to care that your life is at risk going there in the summer. People smoke cigarettes all the time and just leave the butts all over the small dog park. It's up to the people like me to clean up after them if they don't want their dog to eat a cigarette butt. Plus vicious dogs are often fighting over at the other park and that's harsh to watch. I've had friends whose dogs have gotten hurt over in the large dog park. I still take my dog because he loves it so much but half the time I end up just driving by and not going, we're going and cleaning up someone else's dog poop or...

I've lived here for 20 years and continue to love this place....and find new things...
