Practical Guide to Puerto Rico's đŸ‡”đŸ‡· Ancient Fort 🏯 and Bioluminescent Bay

Beautiful and pristine shore entry for snorkeling that was as good as taking an excursion! My only complaint is there were sea urchins everywhere and luckily someone warned us before we stepped on one when we went to snorkel. We rented a golf cart for the day and this was the spot we kept coming back to! When you go out, only go shin deep and then float over the rock beds where the urchins are lurking... Go to the right about 100 yards to where you see rocks sticking out of the water and that's where the amazing reef and it's aquatic life awaits! Absolutely beautiful!

A great place to snorkel. This is the other location on the snorkel tour besides Tamarindo beach. Lots is sea urchins in the entrance and quite rocky. Careful as you enter. This place has no turtles but plenty of fishes and corals. If you are snorkeling by yourself, make sure to check weather beforehand. Windy and rainy days can make the water quite rough and turbid, hindering good views. There is a small parking area and is easily accessible by golf carts. Not much space to just chill on the beach, though.

Perfect for snorkeling! The beach area is limited but for snorkeling it’s perfect. It’s very rocky when entering the water but sea urchins are visible right on shoreline but past the rocks there is large open area to check it all out. On our visit there were only two other people in the area. Lots of shade places and a few picnic...
