Powers Farm Community Park is a hidden gem—a peaceful 22‑acre preserved open space in Randolph with diverse natural habitats including meadows, marsh, an Atlantic White Cedar swamp, and scenic Norroway Pond. The grounds include wide, well‑maintained trails (about a 1.2 mi loop) that are easy and accessible, even offering a handicapped‑accessible boardwalk through the swamp. These paths made it comfortable to stroll and chat, with sunlight-filled fields and cooling breezes in the shaded swamp areas—perfect for a couple of quiet hours away .
Facilities are thoughtful and supportive of passive recreation: a pavilion, playground, restrooms, picnic seating, a boathouse and dock give a small community‑park feel while ensuring nature remains undisturbed . Norroway Pond supports abundant wildlife and waterfowl; the environment supports both natural conservation and public enjoyment .
Community‑oriented events bring vibrancy during certain seasons—June through September hosts the Main Street Marketplace farmers market, October sees the Harvest Hoopla, and summer months offer programs like kayaking and canoeing . Cultural events such as the Randolph Caribbean American Heritage Festival were held here as recently as June 2025, adding lively community engagement to the serene setting . Additionally, free weekly drumming circles in summer bring people together in a fun, musical outdoor gathering .
In short: Powers Farm offers a blend of natural beauty, accessibility, quiet trails, wildlife, and community events, all framed by thoughtful preservation efforts. It’s an excellent spot for a peaceful walk, family outing, community event, or a quiet moment in nature—all...

This year I've really taken advantage of the park and its been an amazing mood booster. We always bump into amazing surprises, in October they offered free canoeing once a week. They provided sanitized life vest. It was so peaceful floating along the water. We've bumped in into weddings and was invited to witness their vows. There is a great sense of community which always leaves me feeling like I'm not alone in these crazy times. If you haven't please take a moment and visit Power Farms Park and...
Read moreI live right nearby, so I've really come to love this park, ESPECIALLY the wonderful new wooden paths they added. It's a beautiful, serene bit of nature (surprisingly full of wildlife, I love watching the swans nest each year!) in the middle of suburban life. And while I don't have kids or dogs, I still truly love and appreciate that they have the facilities for both, and have enjoyed taking my nephew to the playground occasionally. Many, many thanks to the Randolph and Powers Farm parks & rec folks who put this together and run things, you've done an amazing job and these parks make living...
