What a treat! If you are passing through Raymond, or live nearby you really need to stop by the museum. The carriages and wagons span from elegant and historic carriages to postal delivery to all manner of work wagons. All displayed in unique settings with period correct furnishings, and surroundings. Men, women and children of all ages will find something to marvel at. From fine leather and fabric interior furnishings to ornate woodwork to meticulously crafted blacksmith and metalwork. We were lucky enough to have Jerry, the owner and restorer demonstrate the creative and innovative designs from the past. Don't miss the carriage with the disappearing second seat. Also, they have a section devoted to youth with interactive displays. The entrance fee is very reasonable and they have a large easy access...

If you plan to visit, just call ahead and schedule a tour with him. The museum is very well done with excellent displays, a penny smasher machine, gift shop, and hands on area for interactive learning. Next door is a coffee shop and Maritime Museum. It's definitely...

And the children's area was so much fun, not only for kids but for...
