This is a hidden gem in the suburbs. I can't believe I grew up here and never saw a performance here until this past Saturday night. A friend and I went to see Murder in Green Meadows and everything about the evening was fantastic. The theater itself used to be a little red schoolhouse until it was converted at some point for hosting plays. The stage is intimate with seating facing two sides of it so you can see and hear the actors.
The production itself was fabulous and all of the actors were so enjoyable to watch and very talented.
They also sell refreshments. The parking lot is small, but their volunteers do an amazing job guiding drivers in the lot. There is also on street parking available. My advice is get there early so you won't be driving around looking for parking.
