Kimberly Crest House & Gardens — Attraction in Redlands

I would NEVER recommend this venue to anyone! Sad to say because this place was beautiful. WHAT A DISASTER!!!!!!!!! This VENUE was a rip off and they are CROOKS!!!!* ---I got married 5/19/2013--- At first I felt good about this place Amanda seemed nice at first.

I paid ALOT of money to have this place private. During my entire ceremony there were RANDOM PEOPLE touring the facility and taking photos!

2.I put down a $500 dollar damage deposit. I was told i would get it back the next day after my wedding. I never received my deposit back. I called for an entire 2 weeks and left tons of messages for AMANDA to return my call. I looked through my bank statements and they charged me an extra $300 on top of the deposit.

Amanda RUDELY called me back finally. WHAT A JOKE- her reason as to why I never got my deposit back was because i left a couple of rose pedals on the floor????!!!!??? Are you kidding me I left rose pedals on the floor?? Are you serious? Please dont have your wedding here.

3.I had to provide a shuttle for their lack of parking. Which wasnt that big of a deal but she never told me about this parking situation till after I paid for the venue. Which I thought was sneaky. Amanda should of told me about this before I paid. Because I had to pay an extra $500 to get a shuttle to park my guest. That was another unexcepted expense added.

I was charged the extra $300 because I supposedly didnt provide the proper type of shuttle. What does that mean? I called one of the top shuttle places in town.

AMANDA is a liar and I am very angry that she lied so many times to me. I asked if I would be charged if I didnt use their recommended vendors. She looked me in the eyes and said "NO" Which is part of the reason why I was told I couldnt get my deposit back because the contract apparently said I WOULD be charged if i used my own vendors.!!!!

Amanda its not worth the SALE to lie.

Spoke to Lori about my daughter's photoshoot for her birthday. She was looking forward to taking a picture on a horse in front of the mansion. After confirming the date and sending in my contract for deposit I was given the time and date available. I booked my photographer and the horse handler for the picture. After not hearing from Lori in 3 days I reached out to confirm my appointment. She then states they are no longer allowing animals on the premises. The same horse was there 5 days ago but they have now decided to not allow animals after my entire day has been booked for this photoshoot. The reason is ridiculous and inconsiderate we have 1 hour booked but she is claiming that she can't shut down the property to the public for an hour. Isnt that why we pay for each hour to have a private event? I can't imagine if I waited longer to confirm if I was even going to be told about this new rule they just created that's nowhere in there policy. They told my horse handler they would charge a liability fee then told me they won't even do it with the fee and suggested me to go to the park instead. They are tripping over themselves to deny my photoshoot with different excuses and different answers. I wouldn't trust...
