
Well I was really looking forward to trying out this gym with the free 5 day pass while my neighborhood gym was being remodeled. I was considering joining after the first of the year, since my own gym was a bit too small for my goals. I showed up and was a bit disappointed I had to go on a tour and sit down with an employee, but it makes sense. Anyways he brought over Zach, who I'm assuming to be the manager, to try to convince me into a 12 month contract. Repeatedly I said I wanted to really try out this gym for the few days before I went for the membership, but they basically didn't let me. Told me if I didn't do it right now I wouldn't get any type of deal. That's fine, I told them I didn't mind the starting fee. Anyways I thought lying saying I was in between paychecks, and needed to wait a week. He then said "well go get your credit card, and then pay it off, that's how most people do it". I don't need to be told how to handle my finances from some gym employee. After 30 minutes of being hassled I ended up lying saying I was going out to my car to get my credit card card (I knew to not bring it in) and just left. Well, a couple hours later I'm getting phone calls. Now I'm totally turned away from this gym just because I'd hate to see what it's like trying to end...
Read moreI ve been a membership for 12 years. It is good and close to my place so that I preferred here than 24 fitness. I want to inform You should be very careful to sign up on any contract. They always explain the conditions in minimal and in sometimes tell you wrong information which is not true. They say in positive only before you sign. However, please REMEMBER that it is very tough and they don't want to cancel it even though you realize and complain that the verbal information is fairly different than the micro-tiny letters of contents in the contract. BE CAREFUL the sales guys and watch out Deana (?) Who charge the membership cancellation. My wife wanted for my college student and high school kids to try out only for 2 months during the summer vacation. A sales guy deceived my wife, said 'yes yes, it is working. 24 hours fitness will call 2 months later to cancel it automatically'. They charged registration fee for the first and the last month and kept taking monthly payment 2 more months and charges annual membership fee. Deana even played game with us, not to credit back. They should stop doing these unprofessional sales. So shame on them doing business like these...
Read moreI wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the amazing experience I've had at this LA Fitness location. I've been to many gyms, and this one truly stands out. I can't say enough about Janet, my workout instructor. She is, without a doubt, the best I've ever had. I go to both of her classes because she is absolutely fantastic. Her routines are so well-designed that they work for all ages and fitness levels, and I always leave her class sweaty but happy. She is a major reason why I love LA Fitness. The front desk staff is also wonderful. They always greet me with a smile and are incredibly helpful, providing the best customer service. It makes a big difference. I also want to recognize the manager. She is so friendly and kind. It's clear she leads a great team. Finally, the personal trainers at this location are exceptional. I've seen the incredible transformations they've helped people achieve. Overall, I am so happy with this gym. It truly meets all my needs, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a great place...
