Revive Church — Attraction in Redmond

🕵️‍♂️ It might be weird to call a church a “find,” but I’ve been hopping around Bellevue/Redmond/Seattle for 9 years, and I think I can say with some accuracy that what God is doing here is truly unique to this area. It’s on my “best kept Washington Secrets list” because I’ve caught myself thinking many times, “how do people not know about this??”

Some highlights:

Services are structured, but it’s not uncommon for things to be “put on hold” in the agenda because God is moving in a moment. This sense of freedom is unique, doesn’t feel like a whim of whoever is holding the microphone, and it gives you the confidence that God could truly move there if he wanted to.

The staff here are incredibly gifted in their roles, and that’s especially evident with the preaching. Todd’s style bridges the gap between the head and the heart, reinforcing the truth with conpassionate, but uncompromising conviction, and exploring the scripture with wonder, reverence and a hunger for knowledge.

My wife and I visited the church today and we really enjoyed it. The preaching was really good and engaging. The worship and worshippers were full of life. The church really takes time to allow God into the service with some extended worship at the end. After the service closes, a ministry team is up at the front to pray directly with people one on one.
