On a scorching hot summer day, four of us took a small Boston Whaler from Kenmore upriver (slough) to Bothell. It was a great time admiring the waterfowl, funky homes, and listening to my stepdad tell stories of what it was like growing up on the River 50 years ago - lots of change. The depth ranges typically from 5-10 feet - sometimes more, sometimes less - gotta be sure to drive your boat up the middle if it's got any draft at all.
