It was a great place to stay--the showers were the best camping showers we've used. The pickleball courts were clean and fun. More shade in the site would be nice, but that's the only downside. However, it's pretty disturbing what we agreed to by just staying there two nights--something we only realized after reading the fine print in our reservation confirmation (we did not actually have a reservation, but just found a campground the day we stayed there). To give the campground rights to edit, alter, distribute and publish any photo or video of us is excessive and creepy. Here's some of the wording taken from the emailed reservation:| ||This document is legally binding and an enforceable contract between Idaho Sky RV Resort, LLC (hereinafter referred to as “Campground”) and the undersigned (hereinafter referred by the use of the pronouns “I” or “me”).|| |I hereby grant Campground permission to use my image and likeness (photographs and/or videos) in which me, any family member, or guest appear for any of its public displays such as but not limited to websites, social media, and advertisement prints, without payment or any other consideration. Read moreWhat a nice RV resort! It was so new when we were there in the second week of May. It had only been open for two weeks by then. Having not known this, we thought it was just a parking lot because there were few RVs and trailers in the sites. LOL
We entered the "welcome center" and there was no one at the front desk. We did finally hear someone in the office talking on the phone, and she eventually acknowledged us with an "I'll be with you in a moment" yell. She eventually called us back to her office instead of coming out to us, which we found odd.
She was nice and gave us a quick background of the RV park. It smelled so new in that building, and it was pretty cool to see where things would eventually go once the interior was completed.
She gave us a tour of the nearby area after showing us on the map where our site was located. The shower/bathrooms were super nice and were clean and smelled fresh. The laundry room and its machines were new also, so everything worked, nothing jammed, and our clothes actually dried. It was awesome! And the public courtyard has a BBQ grill and fire pits and seating areas that looked nice too. It was too windy and cold for us to experience it in any meaningful way, though.
Our site was at the end of a row and had gravel for the trailer and a grassy area next to us. The site next to us wasn't super close, so that was comfortable. Our Yorkie LOVED the freedom and length of the dog run. He kept running back and forth.
I see nothing but great things for this place once it's widely known. We will come back if we make it up...
Read moreThis is a nice brand new RV park with a ton of RV spaces. Maybe too many! We had a nice quiet (except for traffic) stay for4 nights as the park was not very full. The staff was friendly and accomodating and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. There was a fairly small grassy area at each campsite, but no trees and it was fairly hot. (There is really no space to add trees either) The pickleball Court was a hit. The hot tubs were not very hot (96 degrees) but a nice amenity that you don't find often at an RV park. Also there were nice gas fire pits up near the office, which we enjoyed after dark. Amazing shower set up with your own private bathroom and shower stall. Have never seen this at any RV park we have been to. The dog park was nice, fenced and treed. The wifi was fair, better than alot of RV parks we have stayed but still not great. If there was any improvements to be made, it would be more amenities for kids. Such as a play area with playground equipment. They enjoyed riding their bikes but needed more to do. Thankfully, we didn't spend a ton of time at the RV park as we were visiting family and doing other activities in the area. ( I'm not actually sure that the intent of this park is to attract families with kids so that might explain lack of amenities for kids ) One end of the park is next to the road with the highway being a little ways past that, so we did hear traffic but that's the price you pay for having a convenient location right off the exit. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay here and...
