I’m very sorry. I posted the following post earlier, but it was meant for the Moab, Utah location. We stayed in both. The Hampton in Rexburg was great! It was on of the 2 hotels that I mentioned having great service in my original post. The service was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice, spacious, and clean. The front desk attendant was very helpful. I had a package coming to me in the mail there, but it got delayed and was going to arrive until we left. So, she took it to the post office and returned to sender for me. The breakfast was also great. They prepared eggs and sausage for us along with a waffle station and other choices.
This is the original post meant for the Moab location: We checked in around 9pm. I noticed there were stray hairs in the sink and tub. There was a Cheerio on the floor. The Cheerio was not a big deal, but told me they didn’t vacuum. I asked the front desk the next morning if they could clean the bathroom and room. They apologized and said yes. They did come in and make the beds and wiped the faucet. I’m not sure how well they cleaned the sink because there was a little toothpaste in it. Also, the same Cheerio was on the floor. There was no prepared food for breakfast like at the other Hamptons. They had breakfast sandwiches that needed heated up, but no microwave. They expected us to go back to our room to heat them up. So, you couldn’t eat on your way out of the door. On the morning we were checking out, my son wanted one of the sandwiches. There was no one attending the the food area, so I told him to go ask the front desk if they could heat it up, because we couldn’t go back to our room. He said she acted like he was an annoying little kid, grab it from his hand and walked off to heat it up. When we checked out, she didn’t seem to want to be there. The hotel itself was nice, but the service was very disappointing, especially since we had just stayed at 2 other Hamptons in other towns with...
Read moreJust book this one. This is a FANTASTIC property. It has every box checked. We actually decided to stay in rexburg rather than Idaho falls while passing through because this hotel was the best value and had all of our criteria met.
The service: friendly young lady greeted us and checked us in, there was always someone at the front desk or nearby as soon as anyone walked by. There was never any wait if you needed anything.
The location: not downtown but not a far drive, restaurants on site, another hotel nearby, close to the highway if you’re just passing through. The view from the window is farmland and it’s a nice thing to wake up to.
The room: the room was very large (not sure if we were given a family suite, but possible). It was clean, the bed and sheets were very comfortable and soft linens are a nice touch compared to similarly priced hotels.
The amenities: the pool is a decent size, not overly large, no hot tub but temperature is warm for the pool. There is a nice outdoor sun area as well. The hotel has two EV charging stations that are complimentary use for guests. (One in the front and one on the side - and 6kw chatting which is more than good for a full overnight charge)
The breakfast: the breakfast was very nice. The baked selection was good, nice yogurts, good coffee, teas, and hot items as well.
Note: I really loved the board games they had in the front lounge area. That’s a very nice touch!
10/10 would return to this hotel.
One last thing: the young man working the front desk was nice enough to give me a dry cleaning bag to stick a greasy pizza box in so it wouldn’t stain my car...
Read moreMy family and I planned on staying here one night while we visited the Lake Labelle Ice Palace in Rigby. We arrived with enough time to take the kids swimming prior to going to the Ice Palace. The first room that we checked into was visibly dirty with handprints on the mirrors and food markings still remaining on the table. We notified the front desk who apologized and provided us keys to another room. We then walked our three toddlers to the next room. We walked into our new room to find the refrigerator was broken and had leaked all over the floor and had created a somewhat foul smell in the room. We then called the front desk who brought room keys to a new room for us. The individual brought us the keys and stated that he had gone to the room to ensure it was clean. We again took our kids to the new room and found that there was coffee splattered on the wall by the coffee maker and old food surrounding the sink in the room. I told the individual at the front desk that we had decided to stay at another hotel. He was visibly irritated and stated that he supposed they wouldn't charge us for the night since we hadn't stayed the whole evening. I told the individual I would love to speak to a manager about the experience. It's been several weeks now with no call. I have never had such a poor experience at a hotel. I would caution those making reservations here to look at the neighboring hotel which provided us with a clean room and a...
