Talk about a dog park with a view! On a clear day you can see San Fran, the Golden Gate, Bay Bridge, and some of Marin co. I love this place. Its so relaxing here. It's a bit of a drive for me but I don't mind and neither does my dog. Completely off leash with space and more space. If your dog fancies a swim then it will have plenty of water entry options. There's a nice long trail if you just want to walk out a tons of field space to play catch.
I have not had any trouble with dog owners not watching their dogs.
There is a cafe called Sit& Stay and Mudpuppy's where you can get your pup bathed after playing.
Tips: -can get chilly here esp. In the evening. -poop bags only in 2 locations at beginning of trail so grab when you get there. -bring towels if your pup likes the water. -beware of foxtails -no water drinking stations on trail for pup. Bring a pop up bowl a bottle. -bathrooms for humans at the beginning of the trail -parking can get full later in the day -not enclosed. Keep your pup on a leash if you have a runner who doesn't know boundaries or isn't really for that...

A small but chic store and grooming service at the entrance make the almost barren landscape a little more cozy. Fortunately, this new land created by landfill where I brought my broken toys as a child, is any dog's dream come true. A few acres of rolling grass and trees provide fetching fun for many dogs, a calm estuary provides swimming for even crusty old dogs, and across the little bridge is a small beach a couple feet down from the open area. The land and two large parking areas is flat, so dogs and humans in wheelchairs are welcome. No stairs or ramps. Drinking fountains and wash areas and restrooms for people are open during Covid as of 3-11-21. Some poo bags are provided, and you can buy them at the cafe. Free, open daylight hours but not locked at night. Stunning views of SF and Richmond. Cool and windy,...
