It's nice I like it but it's not the greatest historical landmark is a few houses that I enjoy passing by. I even sat on the steps and hung out there which is pleasant but I've been to much cooler historical sites like gettysburg pa or williamsburg va.. I guess you might not be comparing this to other spots like that but I have to for this review. There's no tour guides or interior tours. I've heard rumors of a museum but I don't think any time I've gone there it's been open. Just a couple of nice quaint and historical buildings. If that's all your expecting than five stars but I don't want to give you the impression that this is some great fantastic experience. It's ok. If you live nearby or your in the area, sure check it out but i mean is it worth a trip?...

Peaceful, historic and beautiful views. On the banks of the Hackensack river. However. not much to do except for a rather short and pleasant stroll around the old buildings. You can't go in any of them except when they hold special events. No facilities. Parking on the street but quite limited. The area is open dawn to dusk. (Although I don't know how they would enforce that as there's no...

It's a quiet place amongst the bustling streets of Hackensack. It transports you to a world in the past. Many locals probably do not know or care much to visit such a site but it definitely is worth a quick moment. 30 minutes and you will find your moment of Zen whether sitting on the wooden benches or hanging your foot off the bridge over the...

Disappointing. The website makes it seem like there’s entry into at least one of the buildings with maybe an interpretive center. There no one here and everything’s locked up. Nice history and good information on outdoor signage, but not what you expect when you’re coming to visit the “Bergen County Historical Society”.

Why read about history when you can walk right in the middle of it. Imagine George Washington during the American Revolution as he strategize about the best plan of attack, or defense, against the British Crown. Beautiful half day trip. Pack a lunch enjoy the historic structures and beautiful bird songs.

The New Bridge Landing historic site is a collection of a handful of Bergen Dutch sandstone homes and the site of an important bridge crossing of the Hackensack River, as George Washington retreated from the British. Very accessible and very pleasant to visit.
