Habitat Africa! The Savannah — Attraction in Riverside Township

One of my favorite parts of Brookfield Zoo are seeing the Giraffes! I can watch these cuties graze for hours if I have the time.

You can feed the giraffes if you're interested, but the cost is $10. Admission, parking, and the price for everything else is pretty steep, so an additional $10 feels like a bit much and I didn’t participate. You can still get some cute photos without feeding them so it’s still fun.

• If you are a Chicago Public Library cardholder you can visit your local library and see if they have any passports available for Brookfield Zoo. The Brookfield Zoo Passport will allow a family of 4 admission to the zoo for free, but parking is still be paid. *
