Zoos are always bitter sweet. We would love to see most of the animals in the wild. At the same time, humans are reason many animals are endanager. Brookfield zoo loves their animals. They work super hard to make the animals lives the best. They help kids learn to care and love animals. They have a huge amount of amazing volunteers. Who work to educate the public. I've been coming to the zoo since 1979. We have been members off and on. Becoming a member is the best if you want to visit often. The playzoo workers make our family feel like part of the zoo family. We have been blessed with meeting many workers and we tend to ask a lot of questions. They have always been super kind and helpful. I encourage everyone to look beyond just the animals but at how much these people love them. The zoo works hard to make you happy. If you have an issue. Call or talk with someone. They want...
Read moreThis is Brookfield Zoo. This is mine and my grandsons favorite place to go. I have been a member for three years now. The staff and volenters are always very nice. It's pricy if your not a member so it's well worth joining in my opion. In the Summer on Saturday nights there is great fun for adults. Sunday during the day they have wonderful projects for children. Definitely one of my favorite things there is New Years Eve. Midnight is at 8pm, they count down for the children. This gives your children and you New Years together and gives you time to go change for your evening. The Zoo is lite up with moving colored lights everywhere. It is a must see, incredible! Even though I don't live very close I go here to walk. If you walk for exercise or fun this is the place to go. It's beautiful! Enjoy and get fresh air. You may even get to pet a python, so...
