I've been to the museum several times, and it never fails to impress me! The way they have the planes displayed is nice, allowing the flow of people to either continue, or stop and read the information provided. Many times, this includes information available about the specific plane(s) on display.
Each time period/wartime has it's own hanger, spanning from a life-sized model of the plane flown by the Wright Brothers, to a (stealth) B2 bomber and drones. The modern section also has displays from NASA, including the Apollo 15 capsule, a mock-up of a space shuttle and a real satellite. Many of the planes on display have the engines and/or guns displayed next to it if you enjoy looking/learning about their mechanics.
There are 2 cafes, a gift shop and a large-screen movie theater inside and a lactation pod!!
Outside of the museum, you can view large bombers as well as an honor or memorial garden. Parking was plentiful.
Braille is available at each display for the visually impaired visitors, and there are a few videos with benches provided if you need a break or want to learn a little more. There are also motorized scooters if I remember correctly. There was separate parking for âżď¸, and it appeared to provide more than enough spaces to park.
Our visit was very affordable. Parking and entry were free. The theater tickets were $10 and the food was reasonably priced.
I love the museum! Top notch displays and history. Well done to honor those who served, as well as making the experience pleasant for visitors.
I wouldn't necessarily call myself a history or plane enthusiast, but I am from a military (navy) family. I grew up near there and we went to their annual air shows regularly when I was a child....

Over 3,000,000 Air Force man lost their lives in the world war. The facility pays homage to those involve providing information with detailed and accurate encounters.
