Another one of Riversides fine parks! It's a hot spot for after school sports the fields are well lit at night and so are the mile or of concrete walk ways that form a large figure 8 through the park. Two large well maintained bathrooms, basketball courts, covered picnic area, and nearby expansive jungle make this park suitable for the whole family! Sadly, the little hobby train that used to traverse the parks narrow Gage rails with passengers no longer operates. Love to see that comeback😥 like any park, keep you your gaurd up. Always know you're surroundings... Stay alert and mimnimise your risk of being a victim. I fruequent the park nightly, and even though there is a homeless population... I have not at one issue, not have witnessed any. Police patrol this park and as woman I feel as safe as anywhere in Riverside at night. One of...
Read moreI love coming to this park. I have a son who is disabled and he loves to come and play here. The park is always clean and I have never had an issue until today. I did not respond to him, and I did report to police and they did drive by and when I left the park he was there but did did not speak to us that time. I hope this does not happen to any other mom and child...

In the early morning hours you will see all the dedicated joggers and early bird dog walkers. On certain Sundays beginning approximately 9 AM, you can ride one of their three locomotives for a quick tour around the parks premises. Every Saturday, in the parking area about 9 AM you can indulge in a warm home cooked breakfast with hot coffee, free for everyone. Water will also...
