Shade Mountain Winery — Attraction in Riverside

Enjoyed the walk through the vineyard. Enjoyed our bottle of wine….until we asked for a second bottle (in 4 hours) and the clerk asked my husband if he was the DD before allowing him a 2nd bottle of wine. Friends of ours went for a second a bottle of wine and was asked “are you sitting at the back table and are you sharing this bottle”…..we love this wine, not so much the liberal standards apparently of the establishment. We are quiet ppl, we did not appreciate being treated like we were drunk. We have spent plenty of money here, but no more. One person ruined it. 2 bottles of wine in 5 hours do not...

We happened into this winery completely by chance but glad we pulled over here! My wife, her cousin, and I each enjoyed two flights along with some snacks. We ended up buying several bottles, mostly sweet ones. The winery is in an old train station and is very well put together. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I definitely...

Occasionally my wife and I will walk to this location as it's a great reason to get us out and about. Most recently I brought my parents to taste wine and they enjoyed it!
