Riverton Memorial Park — Attraction in Riverton

The police in this town suck!! If at all possible drive around the town not through it!! They have absolutely nothing better to do then sit directly in the middle of town and pull people over for any possible small offense they can possibly see. I drive through this town at least 4 times a day because I live next to it and 95% of the time there is at least one person pulled over being harassed by the police in this town! Mind you The town is less than a square mile. Even if walking through the town the cops will stop and harass you no matter if you're 90 or if you're 12 years old they want to stop you talk to you and see if there's any possible thing that they can bother you for ticket you for. Most times asking if you mind and give consent to a body search or frisking whatever you'd like to call it. Absolutely ridiculous! Besides that it is a very pretty small homey town. It also has decent events such as parades Etc. Absolutely beautiful view of the Delaware River Tacony Palmyra Bridge and Philadelphia with a nice little Yacht Club that isn't really a yacht club more like a a dingy sized sailboat club. Clean, quiet, well kept. A good place to bring the family for some fun.
