I had my wedding reception at the Hauberg Estate on September 12th, 2020. Our cocktail hour was inside the home and outside in the garden area, and our reception was held under a large tent (that we rented) on their front lawn. My fiance and I wanted to have a tented outdoor reception but not at a country club or golf course. The Hauberg was absolutely perfect for us--lots of history and charm, and the setting was gorgeous. The home is stunning on the inside and the grounds surrounding are picturesque. Deb, the director, was wonderful to work with. She was so supportive and flexible and she helped us have a safe and incredibly fun wedding during COVID-19. I highly recommend using the Hauberg for your wedding venue!

One of the Quad Cities best kept secrets. The Hauberg Civic Center was donated by the Hauberg and Denkmann families to the city of Rock Island over fifty years ago for the purpose of offering a public space for civic organizations and groups. Today, this beautiful gem is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a fantastic location to host an event or party. Beautiful property and wooded area around it.

I held a baby shower there today for a dear friend. The staff was so very pleasant and helpful! The house is so elegant and the grounds are just beautiful! A special shout out to Michelle Cotton! She went above and beyond to be helpful! I’d recommend this venue to anyone!

Came here for a recent German heritage event with some work mates. They had bratwurst, pretzels, big steins of Marzen beer, and various other things. The Musicmeisters also played lots of polka and various folk songs.

I really enjoyed this event. The estate was neat to tour through. I had a really nice conversation with one of the caretakers about their Mason Hamlin grand piano and plans for restoration.

The weather outside was warm but cooled off nicely for the activities in the evening. They had a scavenger hunt for the kids going (something about finding a bunch of painted rocks). Bottom line, it was a fun event and I'd come back here again...

I took a historical tour of the Hauberg Estate and really enjoyed it. I grew up in the area and love history. I loved learning about the legacy of Suzanne Denkmann and her husband John Hauberg. I learned a lot and would definitely recommend the tour to anyone-- especially if you have ties to Rock Island or just love history. A few different tours are offered, but I took the Mansion Tour. I look forward to taking the other...
