Checkers — Restaurant in Rock Island

NICE TO SEE THEY DELETED MY REVIEW SO ILL JUST KEEP COMING BACK TO POST IT!!! NICE TRY it just goes to show you the DISRESPECT BY THE MANAGER AND OR HIS STAFF. So again I visited this restaurant and upon arriving home to consume the DISGUSTING FOOD I RECIEVED, I noticed the burgers I ordered were ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, it taste as if the MEAT WAS SPOILED and when I called to speak with THE TERRIBLE MANAGER he gave me THE WORST ATTITUDE IVE EVER RECEIVED IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. Upon explaining to him my entire order of 2 FRY BURGERS 2 APPLE PIES AND A ICE CREAM CONE I informed him the burgers WAS NOT!!!! up to par with the normal taste of a burger I informed him that IT TASTED SPOILED AND VERY DISPLEASING. He then replied WITH A VERY SNOTTY ATTITUDE saying DO YOU HAVE A RECEIPT in which I told him I did not and he replied again with the same DESPICABLE ATTITUDE OF "WELL YOU SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN ONE" as if I could control and force his employees to give me a receipt. I explained to him I only wanted him to replace BOTH BURGERS!!! NOT THE APPLE PIE NOT THE ICE CREAM CONE JUST THE BURGERS and his UNBEARABLE REPLY WAS "I can only replace what you have" which is insane considering I had not reported to him that anything was wrong with the ice cream or apple pies and that I did not want him to replace those items, JUST THE TWO BURGERS plus I had consumed one burger as I WOULD HAVE TO HAVE EATEN IT TO BE ABLE TO SAY IF IT WAS GROSS BEYOND BELIEF and it was the only thing I had to eat at the time. I GUESS HE WANTED ME TO NOT EAT AT ALL and at this point HE Would have been right considering THE PUKE-ISH TASTE I GOT it's sad that a restaurant making all the money it makes cant afford to REPLACE TWO BURGERS that Costs me less than $4 its ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS that I have had to go this far. And now it's been 3 WEEKS I received a call, (ONLY AFTER CONTACTING CORPORATE OFFICE) BY ONE OF HIS WORKERS (NOT EVEN HE HIMSELF) THAT THEY WOULD SEND OUT REPLACEMENT COUPONS. HERE TODAY I HAVE NOT RECIEVED A HALF PENNY WITH A HOLE IN IT FROM THIS PLACE. And then to have my REVIEW VANISH IS JUST UNBELIEVABLE. HE MUST BE RUNNING LOW ON FUNDS OR IS JUST COMPLETELY UNFIT FOR MANAGEMENT. After I receive my coupons or money back and order and get the proper food I WILL NEVER EVER EAT FROM ANOTHER CHECKERS/RALLIES IN MY LIFE LET ALONE THIS HIGHLY TOXIC LOCATION ITSELF. The People That Work Here and Including Manager Have been So Rude except for 1 time,Everytime they rush your order and completely cut you off asking is that all in a rude manner even when there slow,I ordered food for pickup because it's been year since I had it last because they are so rude so I decided to order and try to avoid there rude workers but I got there figured ok they have more people working so I go to walk up window because there were people ordering and a cat behind them,Well I had been at the window no workers came over they seen me but just stood there they let th two cars order and served them and then came to window and asked what I needed I told them I was there for pickup and my name,Git food right away and waiting a 2 to 3 minutes for 2 small drinks then I get home I literally live 2 minutes away and My Food Is Saugy and Cold Anf Seemed like it had been sitting for hours which probably has been sitting since Noon you know lunch rush hour which is disgusting especially when I spent over 20 dollars on 2 meals and chicken box,Never will I get checkers again totally worthless I really hope they either go out of business or a new owner steps up and Gets more people that are more careless about there job and customer service,And Hopefully workers who care if people get fresh hot food, prices are way to high to be paying over 20 dollars for 3 people to get cold saugy food,I recommend never going to the 18th avenue checkers it's a waste of time and money and your food will be disgusting also either my bread or lettuce or tomato one tastes really old.I believe we will all be sick tomorrow from the few bites we all did take.DO NOT GO HERE BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE,VERY RUDE WORKERS,AND THE FOOD TASTES OLD...

I stood out in front of the window of the checkers on 18th avenue and 27th Street in Rock island or over 10 minutes in the heat that was 90 degrees we beat on the window they did not come 10 minutes later a man came out the back room as he open the door we could see two other people standing there too as I approached the young gentleman who came out of the checkers back room he said that he was on break and that he was heading to his truck to eat with his girlfriend that was waiting for him in the parking lot I asked him where are all the other workers he said they are on the back room why didn't he go in the back room to get them to come out to the windows as there was three other customers besides me we decided to just leave we were sweating and very upset and we had to walk home because of our ride did not want to wait for their food or to anyone to come to the window when it said it was open and no one came thank you my name David Rock and we had your manager from the checkers call us and give us two free combinations not sure what that are at checkers but we will check them when the coupons get here but since she has called that goes to show that they are usually too busy or cleaning in the back rooms when they do that they should put a sign up or a doorbell or we can ring the doorbell to let them know we are at the front wanting food thank...
