Radicle Effect Brewerks — Restaurant in Rock Island

One of my favorite places in the Quad Cities! REB is not your typical every day brewery. When you walk in, you'll notice the hand painted murals on all of the walls. You'll also notice a pool table and juke box along with their brew room. The atmosphere here is really more of a fun local bar environment- which makes sense being that, along with beer REB also features a complete bar with lots of specialty high end liquors. Along with the bar, the beer selection here in incredible! They have a few REB brews on tap, several other crafts on tap, and nearly 100 unique bottle beers. Their brewmasters and bartenders are really friendly and knowledgeable, so they make sure that you'll always get a drink that you love! Ultimately, if you're looking for a good beer, or just a good time, I highly recommend heading down to Radicle...

Been coming here longer than most of the bartenders. It's gone way downhill in the last few years.

Now, they're openly hostile.

They still think they're the only "cool" bar near the Augustana campus. Arrogant and with a chip on the shoulder. Try Sallie's down the street for a refreshing experience.

Holly used to be cute and cool, now she looks like a junkie and enjoys power tripping by banning customers she just DOES not like. Control freak. I wouldn't be surprised to see her there on her day off, lol. Lame.

So, Holly: Why did you ban me exactly? Let's get it down in writing. I recall being somewhat obnoxious as I'm bipolar and hypomanic currently. But that's it. So Holly - you got a problem with biploar people? ADA lawsuit anyone?

Personally, I don't have a great appreciation for breweries that don't serve food, as I am not a 'bar' person. I prefer to eat while drinking beer.

Went to Radical Effect on Saturday because Floyd's Burgers food truck was there. EXCELLENT burgers (despite extra wait natural for a quality food truck).

Unfortunately, Radical Effect didn't have any of their own beers on tap that interested me (which is odd, as I appreciate diversity), so I had a Victory sour I am very fond of.

Five stars for Floyd's, three stars for Radical Effect, averaging out to four stars.
