What a beautiful hidden gem! Emphasis on BEAUTIFUL! Had it not been for a local, we would have never found this place. It’s too bad we weren’t able to come when all the flowers were in bloom. Plants are also for sale here and have reasonable prices. It is easy to park here and quiet. If you want a peaceful location and a little oasis near Camden, this is the place! Thank you to the local, Robin aka. RJ for the recommendation!

Such a serene and beautiful garden. A must see! We so enjoyed walking around and seeing the beautiful flowers. Bought a pot of cute hens and chicks. There is a gift shop with cute gardening items and gifts. A gazebo and benches around the garden to sit and enjoy the beauty. Get away from the hustle and bustle and come the garden. They also have more hiking trails as well. No dogs.

A most beautiful park, with rambling trails through magical woods, open meadows, and beautifully tended flower gardens. There is so much to see, and the trails are well marked. The visitor center has an extensive library on nature and environmental books, as well as a lovely gift shop, and there is a well kept bathroom. Very family friendly. Do visit, you won’t regret it.

Our family has been coming to Camden for camping for years and we could not believe that we had not been to Merryspring Nature Center. We started off with an owl pellet activity led by John. The kids had a blast, I might have joined in too, and they were able to keep their findings as well as a magnifying glass and identification chart. After we learned about owls, we went on a tour with John of the grounds that was amazing. We learned about the spring, history of the land, the root cellar, fairy houses (You can make them!), flowers, etc. The well-kept gardens were to die for. Our kids raved about how beautiful the flowers were and that there were so many unique ones. It was absolutely stunning! This is...
