After 2 years of my husband wanting to try Tomi Sushi, we were finally able to. Keep in mind that they only have dine in during the summer time and take out during the off-season. Our waitress did mention they close for the winter. The food was good, and the service was good. The only somewhat negative thing was that you have to order everything all at once, and the miso soup lacked some flavor. Our waitress said that because they get so busy, my husband had to order all of his sushi at once. I would think that's a little weird, especially if you want to order more sushi after finishing what you had, but it is what it is. The miso soup needed a little bit of something to give it a bit more flavor, and the tofu was super small. The miso soup wasn't bad, I would still order it. Everything else was delicious. For appetizers, we ordered the edamame and soft shell, and for our main dish, I ordered the tempura platter, and my husband ordered the sushi box along with a variety of sushi (tako, unagi, sake, and maguro). He also did the saki sampler. Everything came out at a steady pace and not all at once, which was nice. I absolutely love their house ginger dressing. Overall, it was a nice dinner date night. My husband said it was worth the wait. There are a few other items on their menu that I would love to try. Our bill was around $100 for everything, but it was a lot of food and we both left stuffed.

I have visited many Asian and Thai restaurants and this is probably on the top of the list. My husband got the Indonesian Rice and it was absolutely amazing, slightly spicy but in a nice warm way. I can't do spicy, but I could do this, it was perfect! (They also have spicier dishes with levels for your choosing) I ordered the Tomi platter with the yakisoba. EVERYTHING on that platter was delicious. And the yakisoba was one of the best noodle dishes we have ever tasted!! And best of all... I can tell it was good food because I left feeling good--normally foods like this hurt my stomach or leave a sodium aftertaste, but not this. I felt comfortable and satisfied. We will definitely go back there so I can try more things. 10/10 recommend.

Delicious 😋, definitely recommend and plan to return Very fresh and tasty food. Great prices, probably one of the more affordable places in town. We had the dinner plates for 18.00 and it's kind of like a bento box. All the vegetables were crisp and fresh, the flavor was amazing. It's a small place with only a couple of tables to sit. Waitress is very nice, we were there after closing finishing our dinner and they never rushed us or made us feel like we needed to hurry and leave.

I’d eat the food again. Edamame was as to be expected. The chicken wings were made fresh, came out hot, were crunchy, and delicious. The sushi was ok. The Maguro sashimi had a little discoloration, indicating it wasn’t the freshest tuna. The Spicy Yellowtail Tuna roll had an underwhelming fish to rice ratio being 3/4 rice. The customer service was off-putting and made for an awkward atmosphere. When my family of 4 walked in, my boys were excited there was a big screen TV with a soccer game on. However, the table they pointed us to was in a corner without a good view of the screen, so since the restaurant had literally no other patrons but us, we asked if they could push two, two-seating tables together in front of the better view of the TV. The Hostess was willing to accommodate; however, the Sushi Chef unkindly responded with rude direct to just sit at the corner table because we could still see the screen. The whole hour we were there, no other patrons came for dine-in, and 2/3 of the people who came to pick up orders were greeted kindly, obviously being local and frequent customers since they were greeted by name. Therefore, kind customer service was obviously attainable. After ordering our food, I had kept one menu to continue to look at, and the Sushi Chef let me know he was making our sushi order, and asked if I wanted to add any sushi to our order, this was great; however his final statement of saying, “this is your last chance because if you try to add later I won’t be able to make it because I don’t have time”. That was interesting since in an hour and 15 minutes, we were the only dine-in guests, and there was only 3 pick up orders, of which may not all have been...

I order food from here pretty frequently . The food is always good but recently I have noticed a very rude vibe from the owner or whoever prepares sushi there . I am not sure if his problem is with me personally or if he is just rude . I have had to deal with his attitude over hot sauce . I was there a week ago and requested some hot sauce. The person at the counter was happy to give me some but this man jumped in and made a rude comment stating that they are not a Chinese restaurant and don’t have hot sauce . Ummm this is not the first time I am eating Thai food and not the first time that I’ve asked for hot sauce here . Anyway I let it pass. I was there again tonight and my food wasn’t spicy so I asked for some hot sauce . Well again , the person at the counter was happy to help but the older man jumped in saying I would be charged for it . I mean , it’s not gold. It’s the tiniest plastic container of hot sauce which cannot cost more than 2 cents but somehow I was charged enough for it that they needed to re run my bill . Times might be tough and maybe they might want to look into other ways of making money than being rude and pathetic over some hot sauce . I wish we had other diverse restaurants here - I would not even entertain this place for their...
