Especially for small dogs, this is great (same size as big dogs so they can run… a lot of small dog areas are just small afterthoughts for dogs to sniff versus run around). They have two separate fenced areas, and although some people prefer dog parks with more of a forest/trees vibe like in Wethersfield, this is just a nice flat open grass area where there aren’t any bugs or ā€œweirdā€ things. I can only say this for the ~5 times I’ve been there, but I’ve always been there with a perfect number of dogs (3-8)… no science or math there, just my general thought.

Come here often. Grass needs to be mowed more. We have 2 little dogs. Big dog entrance should be separated somehow from little dog side. People with aggressive dogs should not bring. Big dog side has had a number of dog fights. Most people pick up there dog poop but others just leave it for you to step in. Both sides have plenty of room for dogs to run and play. Both our dogs and us have made many new friends for life. Benches need to be updated. Overall a great time.

This is a great park, certainly the best that I've been to in the area. True, there is little shade, and much of the grass is dead near the entrance gate, but the trees are young, and I don't know how you expect grass to grow when the ground is continuously trampled by packs of dogs. Most of the dogs and their people are great, and the water fountains that operate in the warmer months are a huge plus. Especially the washing station outside the fence. Fair warning: if you're going to bring your dog here, just remember to have it licensed, as it is the law in most states. Signs are clearly posted at the entrance that your dog should be licensed, and the animal control officer will order you to leave, as is what happened to another reviewer. ...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I absolutely love this dog park! It's a fantastic place for both small and big dogs to run around and socialize. The two separate sections ensure that all furry friends can play safely. The lush grass covering the entire area adds a wonderful natural touch. The availability of water is a great convenience, keeping our pups hydrated during playtime. The inclusion of a portapotty for owners is a thoughtful touch that adds to the overall convenience of the park. Kudos to the organizers for creating such a wonderful space for our furry companions and...

I was passing through from out of state and wanted to get my pup some play. I was not there more than 15mins before I was asked to leave by animal control (for not having a town issued tag). My pup has all his shots and has those tags on his displayed collar. Now I can understand if I was seen there an had been made aware of the rules. As I left I did see a sign. I don’t know if I am make a big deal about this or not. For me it is not about me but my pup. I wanted to get him some play. Wish there was more understanding. Needless to say. I will...
