Best Friend's Dog Park — Attraction in Rocky Mount

This is THE most beautiful, functional and biggest dog park I have ever been to! 3 different fenced in sections (small dog, big dog, & agility course). Since we had never been there before, I started my dog on the agility side (there were no dogs there at that time). She was able to sniff and run along the fence with the other dogs. After a few minutes I knew that all the dogs inside were friendly and we headed in. We do not have a fenced in area at home so she was in heaven! She ran until she couldn't run anymore! Enormous dog park and it was very uncrowded on a recent hot but beautiful afternoon we were there. The small and large dog fields are huge with many large trees for shade, nice grassy surface, benches for the hoomans. There is also a large and well equipped agility yard. There were kiddie pools with a hose if you wanted to put some water in them. There was a subpar porta potty nearby for me, but I was in need and appreciated at least that was provided. I have always loved this park until just recently, I took my senior min pin & my young Maltese to the park. There was a lady on the small fog side with a very large dog. She wasn't paying any attention to the dog & she was far away from the dog talking in the phone. The big dog, of course, came towards me and my small dogs. Luckily, the dog was friendly, but this could've ended badly. I wish people would adhere to the rules set in place. Otherwise, it is an amazing place for your...
