AUTOPHONICS — Local services in Rocky Mount

Not sure what changed, been going to them for simple things for a few years. 2022 I bring in a BMW with a custom radio/back up camera install. Keeping my calm after the store states they open at 10am, owner didn't show up until 10:30am. The Tech to install was another hour late, I even went to get breakfast came back and he still wasn't there, The owner keep saying 15mins so I waited in total 3 hours before tech arrives. I honestly should of took that as a sign of unprofessionalism and left right then. Unfortunately I waited, finally 12:30 noon and install guy finally made it in. Now I paid for a complete install which was $515.00 after another 3 hours it was done. I notice my radio deck is loose "If you hit a bump it was shake the deck and slides forward". Also I didn't even leave the parking lot and my install camera shut off. I pull back around to the front to explain the issue. The owner gets mad at says my radio is cheap and so is the camera which I purchased my radio from them two weeks prior "guess he forgot about that" and said no refund, also my BMW sensors were cut off by them in this process. My experience with Autophonics on Sunset Ave in Rocky Mount was at best, Horrible. Why? glad you asked ! I took two vehicles in to replace the factory speakers on both vehicles. I chose a set of high end speakers 6x9's I don't play my music loud but do prefer a quality sound while listening to Jazz. Well neither set of speakers lasted six months. No one else operate my vehicles. I went back to complain six months later and they wanted proof they installed the speakers, my cancelled checks were insufficient to prove they installed the substandard speakers.
