Austin Art & Frame — Attraction in Rollingwood

I took an original painting to Austin Art & Frames for framing. After nearly two weeks, I checked in for an update and was told the artwork hadn’t been framed yet. The associate offered a refund, and we agreed I’d pick up my piece later that day since I wanted to explore other framing options.

Shortly after, I received a call pressuring me to continue with the framing because the frame had already been ordered—despite this not being part of their return policy. The caller had an attitude, making the experience even more frustrating.

When I arrived to retrieve my artwork, no one was at the front, though I could hear voices in the back. After waiting, I noticed my painting sitting unattended near the door with a check on top—short of the amount I was owed.

Leaving valuable artwork unmonitored is unprofessional, and the overall experience left me questioning how they stay in business. I wouldn’t recommend Austin...

Austin Art and Frame did a great job with a large piece we had framed. They were able to help us narrow down what we were looking for (they have a million choices of frames and matting!) and the colors that would work best for both the art and our home.
